Writing first about recent excellent costumer service and my overall opinion of the company and their products. I recently worked with Z Grill's customer service team to resolve an issue with my grill, which resulted in them replacing my grill. All communications were fast (same day email replies throughout), clear, and the outcome very fair. I've been a customer of Z Grills since 2021 and VERY much appreciate the outstanding customer service in helping resolve my issues that made sense for us both. This is certainly not the case for other grill manufacturers and its good to have a company like this stand behind its products. And their grills (pellet smokers) are terrific: very high value to price ratio. The grills perform very well, especially even cooking throughout the different grill chambers I've owned: an important feature for consistent and successful cooks. Their Accessories (per their website) are also excellent and have been great investments for me over these past +5 years: from insulated winter grill covers to sus304 stainless steel upgraded grill grates - all very high quality and effective. There are numerous online videos and reviews of Z Grill's various models that will attest to its high-quality products, too. In summary, I've had really positive experiences with Z Grill's (1) pellet smokers and related products, and (2) its customer service standing behind its products and working with me in a non-confrontational, honest way to resolve a recent particular issue covered under its warranty. This combination is why I will continue to invest in Z Grills in the future; really outstanding pellet smokers!

I thought this review was important to share just because how accommodating Angela was. I had an issue with my smoker that was partially my fault but she still went about her job of Customer Satisfaction, which we all know is very hard to find these days! Thanks again Angela!

I found this company from a smoker rating website and started to investigate who they are. Soon found out that they use better grade and thickness of steel in the construction of their grills and have a reputation of standing behind their products. I bought a grill and EVERY single question to the support team has generated a timely response with real answers that build confidence. My grill (and WIFI conductibility) are amazing - as are the meals that I have cooked in my new grill. I cannot say enough about how awesome this company is and how they earned my praise and respect in this age where many companies only pretend to care. Z Grills - I recommend you to all my family and best friends as I hope they will do business with a company like you !!

Just months out of warranty I noticed my grill running 50 to 100 degrees cooler. After going back and forth via email and following thier directions to make sure I did everything right, I decided to purchase a probe and controller. Purchase made via phone, charged $100 and some change on July 7. Today (July 17) I received a package containing a connector adaptor. No invoice, no information on the other parts. Never got an invoice via email either. ‐------------------------- UPDATE(8/9/26) : Replaced controller and probe, no change. Emailing back and forth. As of 7/28 was going to pass this to engineering for review. Haven't heard from them yet. On communication on 7/26 they said they won't charge me but my credit card was charged and has not been credited. UPDATE(8/17/26): After trying grill again it still runs cooler than selected. (Same problem) They offered to refund the parts I bought earlier so I approached them about this. After three employees I was told in an email : "We understand how frustrating this situation has been, especially after all the troubleshooting you’ve gone through. At this point, we recommend considering a new grill rather than continuing to purchase parts without a guarantee that they will resolve the issue. We sincerely apologize that we’re unable to provide a better solution in this case.". I will never buy another appliance nor recommend one from this company.

After using my Z Grill for several years it stopped heating up properly. I contacted Z Grill support team and they helped me to get the proper replacement parts and gave me instructions on how to install them. This took awhile but they were very helpful and their diagnosis was right on. It now works better than ever. Thanks to the support folks. They have a great product.

If you're looking for a pellet smoker, go with Z Grills. Most of the pellet grills are about the same: you load pellets in, set the temp, and let it go. But if something breaks, you may have to replace parts, and in some cases, it's on your dime. Not with Z Grills. I had a Wi-Fi controller go out on mine that was just out of warranty. I got with customer service, explaining what the problem was. We went through a troubleshooting process to find out it was the controller. They decided that they would send me a new one free of charge, even though it was out of warranty. You can't ask for better customer service.

Customer service was fast and efficient. This will be my second replacement temp probe after they caused an error on high heat. However, I was told they are making them in-house now and they are higher quality than before. This has been the only issue with my almost 5 year old grill.

I've had my Grill for about 4 years. I use it heavily. I've had a few issues. I burned through the fire pit - did I mention I use it heavily? And recently the thermal probe finally died. I'm never worried, because ZGrill has always been there, diagnosed the issue, and sent parts. My most recent issue wasn't under warranty, but the part was reasonable (except for the purchase surcharge from the state of CA) but again I got the part, and I'm back up and smoking/grilling.
