Long after purchasing the camera, the 'record 12 seconds of video after motion detected' feature went from free to a service only available with a paid subscribtion. Absolutely scummy company, stay far away from it.

Pretty much the sentiment on here summarizes my feelings, beyond horrible customer service.

I'm cancelling today. I'm being billed 2x a month. So far, I've spent 3 hours trying to get someone to answer the customer service number. I also can't get anyone to answer the Google/Wyze that debits by account. The cameras are simply not worth the money or the aggravation

I have been a user of many Wyze products over the years, Their products are cheap, unreliable and getting worse. Their customer service is worthless. They have lost public trust in taking three years to fix a security flaw in their cameras. Most recently I went to active their security system which included a 6-month free period. I couldn't get the code to work and contacted Wyze. I was told the code had already been used. How can that be? After many back and forth emails, I was finally given an online credit. Other issues include cameras not uploading to their servers. This happens often. They are just not a reliable company or service. You get what you pay for.

If you have literally hours and hours to spend with tech support and you don't care if the camera works this might be a good option for you. I've come to think that the company is run by millionaire teenagers with ADD on meth that have one goal - to keep rolling out products and services that seem to stay in the Beta phase, so they can get your money and keep it. The cameras are not reliable and the subscription software is kind of nuts. They offer the name your price on top of the $15 a year fee. So you have to pay the going rate, but you can pay more if you want?

Waste of money. Thieves took out SIM card (duh) Wyze has ZERO footage recording. My things were copped. This is Security Surveillance?

Their Tech Wizards are a joke. This was a great startup company, but went down hill quickly since 8-2021. I don't know what happened to them. I used to tell everyone how great they were. Now I tell everyone to seek another solution.

Scam company. They sell you a product with the understanding it will do what it says on the packaging and then they end all functionally of said device untilyoupay a subscription fee. Avoid this scam company and throw all wyze stuffs away.
