When I purchased Quicken WillMaker & Trust 2024, I wasn't sure what estate planning documents would best meet my needs. Each document that is available comes with a lot of information and guidance to explain the purpose of the document, and detailed instructions on how to complete the document and the steps necessary to make it legal. I also gave me access to much more detailed information on-line. I was able to complete my Will, Health Care Directive, and Transfer on Death Deed. It gave me a lot to think about in determining if and when I need a Durable Power of Attorney for Finances, and it helped me understand that I would not be best served by completing a Living Trust.

Pricing was tricky. Full price then email offering 10% off - I was still deciding when 25% off email came. If I had bought right away I would have paid 25% more! Not good honest practices.

The material leads you through the process as required. The only issue that was surprising to me was my windows 11 said it would be saver downloading the app from the App Store. I was set back when there was a $10 charge for the app which I decided not to buy the app

I like the products. Great prices. I have purchased several times over many years.

Everything is so easy to understand. The software walks you through the process step-by-step, AND answers all the "WHY it's necessary" guestions. An eight year old could successfully do this.

Website was easy to use and did not have any major bugs. I was able to return to the website many times to make changes. Instructions were clear. I had some difficulty printing the PDF files but this was a printer problem not Quickens.

In 1995 I made a similar Living Trust and related documents with Nolo.com, and much has changed in my life after 29 years. So I had confidence in Nolo and started over. There is a lot to think about with property and beneficiaries etc., and this program covers everything clearly with tips and examples and easy to complete forms. I am sure my family will have a much easier process handling my affairs, now that all the Nolo documents are completed.

I wanted to add a document (Power of attorney) to my document set I created when I purchased Willmaker 2021. I had to "upgrade" to Willmaker 2024 from Willmaker 2021 when the 2021 version said it was required. I paid $69 for 2021, so expected that an "upgrade" would cost something less than what I paid for the 2021 version. Paying 25% or 50% is what other programs charge to upgrade. However even with a coupon code it cost $104 to upgrade. Sounds like the program is only good for 1 year and you are not upgrading but purchasing a new version for full price every year.
