Easy peezy!!

Accessing a will form acceptable in my state is helpful.

What I like about Willmaker is that it takes you step by step through all of the applications. I found some check off sheets that help me gather the information I would need to complete all of the applications.

This software is excellent except it is only useful for very simple wills and trust. For instance, I wanted to name a beneficiary in my trust and want to name an alternative if that person died before me...name my brother, then if he dies, his kids get his portion of my estate. WillMaker doesn't allow this. It only goes to the first level and doesn't allow you to go to the second. So, I wasted my money. Will Maker does allow for an alternative beneficiary but doesn't allow me to list who gets my assets if that person isn't alive. As an example, my spouse is my beneficiary, when both of us die my niece gets our estate but if she is gone, Will Maker doesn't allow you to list my niece's children as her alternative.

The form was easy to fill out and covered everything that we needed covered. I especially liked that if I didn't understand something I could click on the right side of the form to find out the meaning.

I created a draft will a couple of months ago using Will maker, however I can't open it to edit my final version. I have called their tech support line and got kicked out of the que. I called customer support and also got kicked out of the que. I have emailed twice with NO RESPONSE. My level of frustration is through the roof on not being able to get answers! I now have to move on to another company and pay again. I would say they have very poor customer service, it is actually NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Quicken Willmaker is an excellent package. It generates all the documents necessary. It also provides an explanation for each line item in a document. It also shows a sample of each document that you wish to prepare. Customer support is prompt and good. You can complete the documents online or you can download the software into your desktop/laptop. Highly recommend.
