The tutorial that lead me in the right direction!!!

Easy to use, very user friendly, comprehensive, convenient and efficient. The only issues it the login name which is strange so I renamed it.

Willmaker 2024 (from NOLO) is worthless: It forces online installation and obscures the downloadable version instead of sensing an already installed 2021 version (now made suddenly obsolete with no updates!). When trying to replace/remove a person, instead of doing a global removal, one must go to each/every occurrence of that person and remove them...and that's impossible because the "removal/deletion" function doesn't work. I can replace the name with someone else, but not delete them. The "worksheet" is in microscopic 3-point font better suited to the small print in a car sales contract than a will/trust creation program. When, after having spent a lot of time adding info. to the so-called worksheet, it cannot be saved because it's a PDF file. There's no provision for saving a PDF, so Willmaker calls (!!) Adobe Acrobat Reader!! which cannot save pdf files. Nonetheless, it "tries" to save the worksheet but says, "sorry, no can overwrite a previous file of the same name...do you want to save it with another name?" -- and then offers no dialog to do that -- even if Adobe Acrobat could save it (oh, but if I sign up for a 7-day "free" trial of regular Adobe...). I even have a PDF read/write add-on that my system will open automatically for just such cases—but Willmaker ignores that default add-on. Bottom line: stay away from Willmaker...and forget about their customer support. It's non-existent. But I did get a refund.

The program was fairly easy to use but I wish I knew how to save parts of it; and then fix something I know I goofed and then puck up where I left off. I had to type a list of account titles and numbers THREE times. Because of that, I left social security information where it did not belong so it is in there twice. It is in the hands of a local law firm who found some changes needed to make my intentions more clear and meet the standards of my state.

The instructions were very well stated. No problems at all, the finish document is very professional.

I have been working with Willmaker for several years trying to complete my will and estate process, but seem to keep putting it off and off. This new Willmaker seems to have some new tools that might just get me to the finish line.
