I have a 17 year old chihuahua with hip dysplasia. Walking has become very difficult for him. I found Walkin' Pets and decided to give their product a try. It arrived quickly. The instructions for adjusting the appliance were clear and easy to follow. My biggest surprise was my dog's response to the wheel chair. I expected an adjustment period. I strapped him in, he paused a moment... then took off with his tail waggin'. He loves that wheel chair! He is able to get around the house and yard with ease. He eats in it and does his business in it. He's back to being a happy dog. I highly recommend this product.

Material is cheap for the expensive price. The rubber material unglues on the bottom of the boot and it’s sides. I suggest making the xsmall less bulky for dogs like chihuahuas who have tiny feet/paws. Add the printable templates for custom fit foam on your website.

The Walkin' Pets harness works well for our 60 lb male chow mix. He seems comfortable and is able to pee and poop while wearing it. It's relatively easy to put on and take off, and overall has made it possible to help our dog through his paralysis. One thing I would change is the number of straps and plastic hooks; it feels overly complicated and the long straps get in the way when he's laying down (there are four connections on each side). We ended up removing all of the plastic hooks and longer straps. If there was one adjustable strap that hooked across the back, with two straps from each side sewn into that, it would simplify design and make it easier all around (one connection instead of four).

Works great for assisting my dog that has failing hips. She doesnt have much mobility but it keeps her standing for short periods. This is a great assistant for me and my old friend.

I have a 15 1/2 year old cockapoo who developed neurological issues and now has issues with his hind legs. He had great difficulty in balancing and then could only take a few steps without falling. As a last ditch effort to give him a quality of life, I bought him a wheelchair. He took to it in about 5 minutes and is now going on walks he hasn’t been able to do in about a year. As soon as his legs go in, he tries to start moving, before he is harnessed in. He is happy as can be to have his mobility back. He hasn’t figured out that the wheels are wider than his body, but the wheelchair is durable enough to roll over just about anything.

We love walkin pets : they have been there to provide solutions for two of our dogs and PHENOMENAL customer service for the two humans in our house. It's stressful when facing new challenges with beloved animals, and the walkin pets team is so adept at educating and helping families through those difficult times.
