I'd like to rate Walkin' Pets 10 stars if I could!!! I ordered a wheelchair for my Shiba Inu who underwent double ACL surgery at the strong advisement of my Vet. The chair was priced well for the outstanding quality unit I received. I dropped off my Shiba at the Vet the day of her surgery and brought the wheelchair as well as she was scheduled to remain for 5 days of post-op care. My stubborn Shiba refused to use the wheelchair... even after many attempts. She elected to walk on her own. More than a month passed and I contacted Walkin' Pets to inquire if there would be any way to receive a partial refund if I sent it back. "Stephen" from their Customer Servi e team was delightful to deal with and got me a full refund!!! Just *WOW*. annot recommend this company more - great product, great customer service and a pleasure to do business with. No wonder my fantastic Vet recommended them. I DO TOO!!!! Fast shipping and quality product. I have used a HELP EM' UP harness for my German Shepherd the last two years who has degenerative myelopathy and it has been a game changer. I would have not been able to deal with her myself the last two years without the harness. Simple rear slings just don't cut it with the disease she has and the HELP EM' UP harness is much more ergonomic for the owners. It will save you from many aches and pains. I purchased a new harness recently and was happy to see that the few issues I previously had with the design had been improved/resolved (i.e. added padding to the rear straps to avoid irritation on the my pup's underside). Typically, you don't see companies continually improve their product based on feedback etc. but when you do it is a tell-tale sign of a quality run operation. Having worked for a quality focuses Japanese company the last 15 years I appreciate this type of continual improvement!

Walkin’ Pets provided exemplary service although the outcome was not what we had envisioned. We called WP with questions about getting a wheelchair for our senior dog who had become suddenly disabled due to illness. The lady we spoke to went above and beyond to help us measure and select the correct equipment for our dog who seemed to fall between sizes. She was extremely knowledgeable, gracious and personable. We selected a wheelchair based on her guidance, paid for it and arranged for shipping. Unfortunately, a few days later, our beloved dog died. We contacted WP and explained the situation. WP did their best to track and intercept the delivery and provided us a full refund. If we ever need a dog wheelchair in the future, I wouldn’t hesitate to order one from them.

We bought the 4 wheel chair for our 84lbs Labrador. While the engineering of the frame itself is versatile and works well once you finally get it setup right, the harnesses and straps are lacking. All the buckles, clips and tensioners are cheap and not very durable. The clips that latch the harness to the frame broke on the first day of use, the buckles would not keep tension and would become loose fairly quick while the tensioners were not easy to adjust making it difficult to get the whole wheel chair adjusted properly for our dog which made him dislike using it. I am a fan of the wheel chair but I think when you spend that much money on something all the parts and pieces should be better quality. We even bought the upgraded harness but it was even worse to try to adjust it to your dog. I think with some easy upgrades to the harness systems with quality components I would have given it 5 stars. Unfortunately, our dog only used the wheel chair a handful of times before he unexpectedly passed. I hope the company looks into this as it would help make the dogs more comfortable and make a more user friendly experience for everyone.

We ordered the Walkin' Lift Combo Harness for our 13yo Shepherd/Malamute mix and it worked great for helping him around and I was able to adapt to a wheelchair I'd made!
