For the price, I didn't expect an issue with such a critical piece.
For as much as you spend, I expected less issues with quality. I was, and continue to be, more than frustrated with their adjustment pins (?). Everything is adjustable (which is great) and held in place by these pins. 95% of the time I push the pin in for an adjustment it rotates outside of the hole and into the track, disappearing from sight. So, then I have to pull the whole thing apart and push the pin back in line with it's hole and put the whole thing back together and make the adjustment all over again. 50% of the time it rotates again. SO FRUSTRATING when you are dealing with a disabled dog that is stuck in the device until you fix it (or I guess you could pull them out of the whole device every time). My bad back doesn't appreciate all the time hunched over trying to deal with this issue this too. Also, tried to diligently make adjustment to follow the pictures of "correct" and "incorrect", however, while one picture shows the device adjusted "incorrectly", later in the book there are pictures of dogs in the devices the exact (incorrect) way represented as being correctly placed in the device. It is a good product, but also a bit disappointing, so I am rating it in the middle. I am certainly thankful that I got my dog a wheelchair to help her, but maybe should have bought the Made in America version rather than the Made in China? I followed an ad to this one, and maybe should have done a bit more research or at least bought a slightly used one. I have found several other people who have made comments about the straps also not being as secure. **I haven't experienced that yet**, but it does give me pause as to what other issues might be soon to come.
