My big 8 year old Labrador Gunny has had surgeries on both hips so I can tell just standing for long periods and walks take a toll on him these days. For the last year or so he just looks at me, not excited at all when I suggest a walk, because its uncomfortable and hurts him. Most of his exercise now is in the pool but I could tell he wants to go for his walks but just can’t. So, I had received info from my sister, I had seen the advertisements, did some research and ordered Gunny’s Walkin Pets system. Quick shipping, very impressed with the lightweight aircraft type construction with a nicely engineered harness attachment for a secure fit and comfort to the chair. Once I did the fit and sizing check, I had some questions on sizing, sent in pictures of Gunny’s fit in the chair to customer service and they sent out different size parts for a better fit. After the first familiarization day, short walk and adjustments Gunny has gone from laying there just looking at me when I get his harness and leash, then try and bribe him with treats to go outside for a walk, to now, he’s jumping up barking moving to the door by just showing him the new harness. My big boy has a new outlook and his new quality of life has him out visiting the neighbors around the neighborhood again. I only wish I had made this move to help my boy a couple of years ago!

Ordering was fine – I got a refurbished wheelchair. I called on a Saturday hoping to hear from walking pets on that following Monday about a part that I thought was wrong in the box that was sent. Then called again Monday and spoke to someone regarding fitting of wheelchair -individual said to send pictures of dog in it and they would reply via email. Said they would contact me, but haven't heard anything in 3 days. Product seems OK and my dogs' physical therapist ended up answering my questions about the wheelchair. Three stars because of a lack of communication from the supplier. No offense but it's nice not to have to keep on calling companies back for an answer.

The sizing guide didn’t match actual size it ran small. Also my pet found it a little uncomfortable and doesn’t like to wear it.

The Warrior Harness is excellent for my big 130 pound Mastiff. We go in water and hike rough terrain and it is very sturdy compared to the other harnesses I have tried. When I had a miscommunication about my delivery, they quickly responded and told me how to proceed. So excellent service as well.

Took only a few tries and we are pros at getting her in and out of her wheels, and she is walking freely and naturally. She seems so much happier to have some independence and has shown more strength and mobility in her legs since we started going for walks in her wheels.
