Signed up for my walgreens reward my telephone number and both me and partners name. Why is the reward cash amount is placed on our names separately and not by the phone number. You need to change this. I am a loyal customer and I make a lot of purchases for our household together. One phone number which is mine and email address that is mine where I receive a digital receipt with every purchase, no matter who it is at that time.

Taking my business elsewhere after this
I have prescriptions on auto-fill for various family members, and I rely on Walgreen to call me and tell me when one of them is ready to be picked up. My daughter ran out of her anti-anxiety medication so I got on-line to see what had happened with her prescription. The website showed me a message that said the store had been "temporarily closed". I used the website to reroute to a different store and scheduled a pickup time. It seemed to go through okay. I went to the store, waited in a long line for about ten minutes only to be told that "the provider was called but they haven't responded".
I went home and checked online. The name of the doctor associated with the prescription was incorrect. I called and asked the CS rep which provider was called and she told me. Yup, wrong provider. Again. I told her that Walgreen had done this in the past, that I needed the name of the doctor to call to be changed in such a way that they wouldn't keep calling the wrong doctor. She transferred me.
A recording informed me there was one person before me in the queue. Then, I was assured that "We're sorry, our staff is answering other calls. Please hold on and we'll be with you shortly." After half a dozen repetitions of that message, they stopped and just played me elevator music, occasionally interrupted by a brief ring tone, then it finally just started ringing and nobody answered. Eventually, there was no sound at all. After another minute of this I hung up.
I called them again. This time I got transferred right away and spent another ten minutes waiting for someone to pick up before I gave up and called back.
I called Walgreen again. They once again said they were going to transfer me and I told them I didn't want to spend another ten minutes waiting. So they transferred me to someone internal person who was very nice, but she said she couldn't help me and she transferred me to the pharmacy location. I waited seven minutes, and someone finally picked up. She told me they were waiting on the OK from the physician. I told her they had faxed the wrong doctor. She assured me that she could change the name and that she would see that my doctor was faxed. I called the doctor, confirmed that the fax had been received, and late that evening the precription was available to be filled. I went to the store, spent half an hour in a line waiting to get to the pharmacist, and picked up the prescription. All told, I probably spent three hours plus the double commute time, getting a simple prescription.
I don't blame the pharmacists. The Walgreen near my home, which just closed and is slated to become a Trader Joes, was practically a revolving door for pharmacists. They kept having to reduce their hours because they didn't have enough people to staff the pharmacy. The lines were fairly long. They were always advertising for pharmacists.
You don't have situations like that in companies who treat their people right. So we have a bunch of inexperienced, overworked and probably underpaid people who are taking a lot of **** from the people they are trying to help, most likely getting no support at all from Walgreen's. I blame Walgreen's. Treat your people right and you get better service, which means happier customers. Cut corners and eff people over to feed the greedy corporate types and whatever you gain in the short run is lost, with compounded interest plus penalties, in the long run. After twenty years of shopping at Walgreen, I'm taking my business elsewhere.

I wentNO PHOTOS to pick up my order that should…
I went to pick up my order that should of been ready this morning by 7:55 am. It wasn’t ready so I waited about 20 minutes for them. On my online order I used coupons and I was suppose to pay $7.49 total.. this lady was charging me 34.00 ( coupons not included) I showed her my email receipt and she said, “ well that’s not what came up”. I told her but I’m showing you my confirmation. She would not honor it. She said so you don’t want it?? I said not for $34 I have my email receipt! She said ok, I’ll just throw them away!!!! I told her I would be writing a review… she didn’t care. Her last name was SOLANO. That store is always short on staff but that’s no way to care for customers!!! No good! I won’t go there again! ☹️

I went to walgrreens and wanted to buy…
I went to walgrreens and wanted to buy 2 products that were 2 for $8.00 and because they were different brands they wouldn't honor the discount, which was absolutely ridiculous. They prefer to lose a customer for this nonsense. In CVS if they have different brands of chocolate you could mix brands because they are the same price. Needless to say, I won't have this pharmacy on my list. It was the walgreens of New Bridge rd. Bergenfield.

I am a long time customer of Walgreens…
I am a long time customer of Walgreens (not sure why) and always run into issues when getting prescriptions filled due to an illness. Seems their online prescription system doesn’t receive what is sent from the doctors office and/or a terrible wait time. Yesterday I had issues picking up flu meds and today the same for my husband. We had to drive back to urgent care and get his prescription in paper because their system wasn’t working. I will be changing pharmacies for sure. Enough is enough.

Rude and unhelpful staff
Rude and unhelpful staff. Sent my husband away when it was time for his refill and stated they don’t accept his doctor anymore?! No notice- nothing! Medication he cannot go without. No emergency supply until he can figure something else out either. Totally did not care nor try to help us. Shameful!!

COULDN'T GET MY REFILL ON A SATURDAY
I'm a 60 yo woman who has used the Walgreens Pharmacy (and store) for years -- BUT I AM DONE! I have the horror story of all horror stories. I realized on a Saturday (while preparing to leave town early Monday morning) that I needed to refill my prescription. Drove to my usual Walgreens pharmacy in West Des Moines -- and guess what?! Closed that ENTIRE weekend! So then I drove to another Walgreens pharmacy on SE 14th St. in Des Moines -- also closed Saturday but would reopen the following day. So I drove to the third Walgreen's further up the road and they claimed they couldn't refill my prescription until they TALKED to the pharmacist at the WDM Walgreens!! What the heck?! It's all Walgreens! So on Sunday I went back to the 2nd pharmacy that was now open and they confirmed that they couldn't refill my prescription but could have it there for me the following Sunday when I returned from my trip (and not having my meds for an entire week). So the following Sunday I pull up to finally get my refill and guess what?! They don't have it!!! SO DONE. I'll never step into another Walgreens as long as I live. HORRIBLE!
