I have been using Walgreen's as my pharmacy for 4 years now since they purchased Rite-Aid in Milton, Vermont. I was leary about doing this because I had bad experiences previously when I lived in Florida. To my surprise they go above and beyond in providing customer service and I plan to continue being a customer as long as I can!

The Walgreens at the corner of Hopkins Road and Meadowdałe is where I shop and pick up prescriptions. I can find my toilet paper, paper towels, dog treats, I can buy cosmetics, and my bottle water. I love going to Walgreens I enjoy the friendly hello when I walk in the door. They have a drive up window for me to pick up my prescriptions. It's not far from my house. If I need help finding an item, they are always willing to help me.

This company is just unbelievable to be dealing with and I am not in any way, shape or form praising them as their main issue seems to be offering an item they have available on their website as the actual item they are selling VERSUS what I have been receiving to the house via placing an online order or even trying to pick the damn thing up at the store, only for it to still be the wrong item and yet, nobody at that company wants to be held accountable for these major errors they continue to make! This all stems from a Pac-man pocket player video game they have one version advertised for on their website, the one I have been trying to get a hold of for almost two weeks time which has three built in games to it, BUT when ordering this through multiple methods, all I keep receiving is a substiuted poor man's version of the game that only plays Pac-man and doesn't have the other games built into it. That is outright fraudulent advertising and in no way did I ever give this company permission to sub my item with the inferior version they keep sending me and yet, they continue to advertise the one I want on their website, claiming they have it in stock when in reality, they never did and I've just had enough of their shenanigans! I have tried to contact their inept customer service division but they are so useless to deal with and I also tried to get a hold of their customer complaints division but that hasn't helped neither and I have had no other choice but to report them to the BBB and on here, to attempt and try to get some much-needed help from their corporate division in Deerfield, IL and try and get me the right and proper game I have been wanting for weeks now, but still, I have not received any kind of an answer or response from them! This is becoming quite problematic and I have also submitted photos as evidence and full proof that they are committing fraud here when selling this specific item as I took snippets of their websites pages and descriptions displaying what they are selling on there regarding this specific game VERSUS what I have been receiving from them and what is being sold at the stores! I had no other choice but to order the item from Walmart in hopes I receive the right item from them, but that also is not a guarantee to happen, but I am at my wits end here and I am asking for answers and for action to be bestowed uponst me for them to get me the game I actually want and what's being advertised on their site! Is that too much to ask and for them to get it for me on their dime for all the trouble and commotion they have caused me so far with this order! Just ridiculous and nonsensical as this should not be happening at a multi billion dollar corporation and they then wonder why they have had to close many a store in the past year's time! This is outrageous on all counts & this needs to cease now! UPDATE on 1/6/2025: I heard back from corporate and it took writing this complaint out on here and through the BBB website to get these guys to finally do their damn jobs and fix all the issues their customer service people caused me on my order since Xmas Eve, but I am happy to report that they came through for me and went above and beyond the call of duty and provided me [finally] with the game I wanted from there plus some additional goodies for all the torture they put me through the past two weeks time, so it's all resolved now. The best way to reach out to these folks is NOT customer service but through corporate means; at least they'll get things done on their side unlike those stooges in customer service. Just relieved this order is now completed properly and I received what I ordered!

Today my experience at Walgreens was very good. The pharmacy had it together this time. My previous experience was not good.

The nearest Walgreens is about one block away from my house, but I stopped going there months ago due to the staff's rudeness and the exorbitant pricing. It was a terrible place to shop. About three months ago I had no other choice but to go there because it stayed open late. I walked in and noticed a tall, athletic looking young man at the checkout register. He introduced himself to me as the new store manager. That alone shocked me because the previous manager never spike or looked at the customer. As I made my way through the store, I noticed that the prices were not only lower, but extremely reasonable. I passed two other members of the staff who were obviously new hires as well. They did something that surprised me....They spoke, asked me how I was doing, land THANKED ME FOR SHOPPING at Walgreens! I have begun shopping at Walgreens again. After all, I have been a Walgreens customer since 1970!!! It feels like home again! All thanks to the new management and team members of the NEW Walgreens located at the corner of Philadelphia and Salem Avenues in Dayton,Ohio

I go to the walgreens at 3601 California San Francisco. When I go there I usually do not have any issues especially when Maddy is there. She is extremely helpful. But then one day I went last week I asked the employee if he could check on the walgreens 6 count paper towels. He said if they aren't on the shelf they are out of them, which I knew was wrong. He was far from being a nice person, so when I got near the register I asked the same question to Maddy and she was more than helpful, she went up stairs to see if they had what I was looking for and found it. I myself think she is a good asset to the company.

I encountered a very positive experience with Larry Smith who works at the Wallgreens on Northern Parkway & Reisterstown Road in Baltimore. While assisting me with downloading photos to be printed he was constantly called to help customers at the register or in random isles of the store. He was doing a lot but he had the best customer driven attitude I’ve experienced in quite some time. When attempting to print the photos out the printer jammed several times. Larry asked a manager to take a look and she decided to change the roll of Printer paper but that didn’t correct the problem. After being in the store more than an hour I decided to go to another store. I was in my car about to leave when Larry came out to my car and told me the printer was working again and I should return in an hour. The photos were ready when I returned and I couldn’t thank Larry enough for his excellent customer service and courtesy to a 76 yr old who is often disappointed in the customer service in various stores. Not today thanks to Larry Smith.

Store was near my home. Easy and convenient. Good customer service in a nice and clean store. Went in for some chocolates on sale and found it !! will be back.
