I dropped the low speed internet service from my parent’s bundle. Over 1 hour 11 minutes later the plan (went over it many times) was unclear and continued to change each time. We went from $123 to about $80.06 and i still couldn't get a straight answer on what was or wasn’t included. I will switch the phone service to comcast or similar. Flat rate unlimited??? What does it mean? Local unlimited calls. I was charged for call waiting and call waiting with caller id. Unbelievable. Must have hired the previous comcast employees.

On July 3, 2025, I walked into a Verizon corporate store and spoke with a (very nice) young man about trying the Verizon 30-day free trial. The young salesman was able to determine that the trail was ONLY available online. Today (July 4th), I followed the steps online to setup my 30-day free trial on my iPhone 16 Pro Max (unlocked with an available eSIM). I received an email indicating my temporary cell number at 9:33am CST. After four hours I still had no Verizon trial service. After calling customer support at 1:24pm CST, being transferred to four different individuals -- the last of which was "inside sales" and the completely wrong person to speak with -- I spoke with the fifth person who had such a strong accent AND garbled audio that they disconnected my call... after trying to get help for 47 minutes. I call back, eventually get transferred to a "supervisor". The call, while active, was "dead air" -- NO ONE WAS ON THE LINE. If Verizon cannot even handle something as utterly simple as a 30-day trial period for a prospective customer, I sincerely feel bad for anyone needing Verizon for actual business or personal use. T-Mobile 5G cellular internet sucks, but at least they respond to calls properly. Looks like it's time to try AT&T. UPDATE: Several more tech support individuals confirmed that because I don't have an actual Verizon account -- it's only a free trial -- there is nothing they can do to troubleshoot this issue. And, because I've already used the Verizon app to try access to the free trial, I cannot re-signup for the free trial. This is literally a "bait-and-switch" operation being run by Verizon.

Stay far,far away from Verizon business and Verizon wireless. We signed our business up for service with Verizon Business and it's been pure hell since. The day we signed up I had to contact them to verify our business address, license and fed tax ID, along with my own personal identity. I completed all of the requested verifications and document uploads. I then got in contact with a business rep to help me complete the process as it was being weird and kept hanging/freezing. The rep had me do ALL of the verifications again, then finally approved my account, opened it and submitted my order for me. I got an email with a PIN number that I had to plug-in on their site to add my payment info and complete the order. Finally, hours later I thought I was home free. I inout my payment info, submitted the order, the screen thanked me and verified I completed everything. Then, a notification popped up on my phone to let me know my payment to Verizon was successful and my bank was charged. Hours go by and I never receive a confirmation email not does my order show up in my business account. I contact Verizon again, worried something is wrong. They inform me I have to now contact the fraud department to verify my info ... FOR THE THIRD TIME. This time the rep is nice at first, then suddenly is a complete smart ass and tells me I need to submit MORE DOCUMENTATION. Before I can even ask any questions she is rushing me off the phone trying to hang up with zero explanation. So they can charge my bank account with zero issues ... allow an employee to personally verify my account and create the order for me but then turn around and claim they need even more bullshit to verify our business and cancel the order. What in the hell is wrong with this place? How many damn times do they need to verify someone before they are satisfied? How many times does one employee verify someone but the next doesn't? Why do they think it's ok to take my damn money and then not deliver the goods/services I paid for? Im trying to run a a damn business here. I don't have time to babysit their employees or verify my identity 78 times. Is this a common theme with them? Im trying to decide if I should continue trying to get my damn phone or if I should just go somewhere else.

Be prepared for unexpected monthly charges of $55 and a one time fee of $16, agreed to $130 a month for two lines, now paying $207.

My wife had to replace her phone through Verizon’s protection plan with Asurion. The first replacement phone only lasted two to three days, so we had to request a second replacement. During this process, Verizon sold my wife a Home Protection Plan, making it sound like something she needed for the phone — which it wasn't. When we realized the mistake and called to cancel that plan, Verizon mistakenly canceled both the Home Protection Plan and the actual phone protection plan — without notifying us. Now the second replacement phone has failed (still within its one-year warranty), but Asurion refuses to honor the protection plan because Verizon had dropped the policy. When we contacted Verizon for help, they couldn’t provide details about who handled the call or offer any notes on what was said. Because of their mistake, we’re unable to get the phone replaced. The only thing Verizon offered was a standard trade-in deal, which still requires us to pay out of pocket — essentially the same deal anyone would get without having had insurance. It completely defeats the purpose of having paid for a protection plan in the first place. In the end, we paid over $300 into Verizon and Asurion’s protection plans and now have to spend $650 for a new phone — putting us out almost $1,000. Had we skipped the plan and saved the money ourselves, we’d be much better off. We would have had to only put up half the price of a new phone. It’s clear that Verizon is more interested in maximizing profits than taking responsibility for their mistakes. Verizon's mistake was very costly on us.

Weird experience with customer service. They terminated my call when I disclosed that I was recording the call as well. Verizon states that they are recording my call, so it seems reasonable that I do the same. To be transparent, I disclosed this fact. The customer service agent stated that they can't talk to me if I am recording the call. I requested to speak to a manager because the response was so bizarre. My call was then terminated. Since I no longer have a contract, I already have taken steps to terminate my service. While I know this will likely do no good, but I felt like I needed to raise the hypocrisy here and other sites since it seems like Verizon has a fear of accountability. Weird.

An hour at the Verizon store, 5 hours yesterday with 4 separate people, and an hour and 15 minutes today and still no resolution. Stunningly inept. And I own a tech company and will never recommend Verizon for such poor service and support. Their systems are terrible.

I was with them for two years. Spectrum offered twice the speed for less money. I asked if they would match it so I did not have to switch. They said no. Then they sent me a bill for $21. that I did not owe. I called and asked what it was for, and they could not tell me. They said just ignore it. Then they turned me into a collection agency for the bill, they said was not valid. In spite of my attempts to resole this they just keep sending bills, that are not valid.
