Customer beware with Verizon
I went on the Verizon app for another unexpected bill increase and was offered a no trade upgrade on my phone. I did not inquire about an upgrade and have no intention of letting my phone go for personal reasons. I confirmed and reconfirmed with the agent that no trade was required and there would be no change to my bill besides one time activation fee and taxes. I screenshot several recaps and confirmations of the conversation because Verizon is never straightforward. I looked at my bill before activating my new, no trade in upgrade and spent the next 90 minutes being told in another chat I wasn't eligible for a no trade upgrade even though they saw the last chat and called it a miscommunication when I was clearly lied to by a chat including a supervisor. Bye Verizon, but please confirm my review because you are training people to lie to your customers. I have the conversation screenshots and I took them because it wasn;t the first time. Just the last time. Why isn't zero stars an option?
