They say got your back, no one literally no one knows what's going on 30 plus hours on phone. Can't send a email confirmation of the agreement that never comes to pass. Ping pong from one to another senior supervisors that will make it right that dose nothing . This company is in the top 2 of bad company to do business with in 80 years of age. Would not advise anyone to do business with corporate buy a prepaid card and forget the lies they tell your agrivation will far outweigh in the end.

Worst customer service I have experienced in years
Worst customer service I have experienced this year. Multiple calls, long call back ques, disconnected in the middle of a call and did not get a call back, scuffled between reps with no results. Their system is broken!!!

Underhanded and lying Verizon agents
I went to a "verizon" store with Verizon signage and agents identifying themselves as Verizon. They sold me a "free" phone that cost $268 on the spot. Ivan and the manager promised I would not be billed for this "free" phone. Verizon, of course billed me.
Turns out the store is Victra, not Verizon and does not have access to all Verizon's systems and billing.
Tried to reach Verizon for 40 minutes this morning and the "digital asst" wouldn't get me to a human to solve the problem.
Seems both Verizon and Victra are underhanded and lie to customers. My "free" phone already cost $268 at the store and I'm being billed over $45 monthly for a "free" phone.

Non existent customer service
Non existent customer service! I moved providers as I had no coverage at my new place of work. Verizon suspended my account immediately and I have no access to past or upcoming bills. Multiple phone calls and hours online trying to unlock account have not provided a solution.

Switching service a nightmare
My husband and I attempted to switch our phone service to Verizon on Aug 20, 2026. One line went through quickly but the representative had trouble connecting the second line. We were on the phone with a customer service rep and a very nice technician in excess of four hours. The verdict was that something was wrong with the phone. We were eventually transferred to an Apple rep who made us an appointment the next day at an Apple Store to have the device checked out. We reported to the store at the scheduled time only to find the phone was in perfect working order. Having this information, my husband immediately went to a Verizon store on Leesburg Pike in Vienna to seek help. The representative half heartedly tried something that did not work and advised that he needed to again call customer service - Arghhhhh! My husband attempted to call customer service from the store but was told he wasn’t able to because he was not the prImary account holder. He phoned me and asked that I call Verizon to add him to the account. I did so while trying to watch my grandkids playing - ridiculously inconvenient. Did I get my husband added after more than an hour on the phone? No! Not even sure what the tech told me about why he was unsuccessful, but I was so frustrated I just hung up. On Aug 22, we visited the Verizon store in Clarendon. We were greeted by Darion and I felt we were in good hands. He identified the issue almost immediately. The IMEI number for my husband’s phone had been entered incorrectly and the account (not sure why) had been locked. He and his manager tried everything to bypass the lock but could not beat it. We spoke with technical support for now a third time in three days, but Darion was there to help navigate the call. The tech, her supervisor and then HER supervisor insisted they had to verify the phone by sending a text message to it. This requirement came with their full knowledge that the phone had NO SERVICE and could not receive a text. Well over an hour later the supervisor’s supervisor determined she would enter an escalation ticket and explained it can take 24 hours to be addressed. In the meantime, Darion was also working on his phone with Cathy T, a different Verizon tech. It took the two of them a little time, but after putting their heads together and trying several things, they successfully got the IMEI changed. Shortly thereafter the phone was connected to the network. SUCCESS!
It was not an easy process transferring our service to Verizon, but it was an absolute pleasure to be assisted by two professionals who refused to let us down a third time. Darion and Cathy are the type of employees that employers dream about. I write this review mainly to commend them for their can do attitude and skills, and to thank them effusively for the service they provided to my husband and me. These guys should be in charge of training at Verizon!

If I could give it 0 stars I would
If I could give it 0 stars I would. I’m supposed to be paying 183 but I’m paying over 200 for a phone bill. Times of hidden service fees I think.

Don't put it on the customer
Don't put it on the customer. All the options in the Verizon survey say, "Why did I disconnect my service?" I did not choose to disconnect; Verizon disconnected my service. The rep on Aug 18th stated that the rep on Aug 5th, who said a new device was coming in the mail, lied and misinformed me. Then on Aug 18th, the rep said my service was being disconnected; I had no say-so, no choice, and no options or support was provided. So add that as an option in your survey: Verizon disconnected you with no notice, when they easily could have been attentive to their customers and emailed or mailed them an update saying, " Soon, your area will no longer be serviced by us; we are giving you a heads-up notice so you can find a new internet provider. This was the worst breakup and the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

After 20-30 years of being a customer I am done
After 20-30 years of being a customer I will switch when my contract comes due. Enough lies. No issue with service but the promises of no fees is beyond. For years I have complained that they want to charge an activation fee for me re upping with them. Ludicrous. Then they come out with this fancy marketing campaign they no more fees. I even called to check. They lied outright. Only applies to their simplicity plan which is basically just their way to charge me more per month and try to get me to upgrade more frequently. Time to finally take Xfinity up on their offer when my contract comes up. Hours spent on chat. Enough of Verizon.
