Horrible experience. Traveling from Charleston to DC to catch a flight to Dublin with my sisters who were coming from Maryland. My 8:00 flight delayed, then cancelled. Got on standby for the 2:40 flight, after pleading with gate attendants that I had an international flight that pm (8:30) from DC. Most unfortunately I was 7th in standby an 5 got on. United had a 10:00 pm flight, which I transferred to and booked a hotel for the evening (through United travel). That was also cancelled!. Attempted to cancel the hotel - through United- they would not. Rebooked for the next AM flight. Had to spend the day in Charleston Airport- paid for a Lounge pass, get a Lyft home and back again in the AM. Appealed to United for compensation- which. Was 100% denied. This was the first time on United and will be the last. I’ll use my points another way.

TERRIBLE!!!!!!! We arrived at the Albany International Airport at 2pm. Our flight from Albany was supposed to leave at 7pm and was delayed, in which we sat on the plane for over 2 hours due to an air traffic control issue. We eventually got off of the plane and were led back to the gate at around 9pm and were rerouted to arrive at Washington Dulles International Airport. We arrived at Dulles at 12am. As we were getting off of the plane, we were promised compensation and free hotel stays, accommodations, flights, and transportation. After arriving, we had issues with our connecting flight, as our baggage was supposed to be at Dulles and the United app declared that the bags had arrived, but they were no where to be found. We spent over 3 hours just looking for our baggage and trying to communicate with online “live” agents, but never received a response. We eventually waited an hour to see a baggage agent in-person, and the amount of disrespect and lack of interest in helping anyone was completely rude and unkind. They did nothing to help us and couldn’t care less about our current situation. We were also told we could only get a “discounted” hotel room but none of the accommodations promised on our Albany flight. At this point, it was 3am, and no one seemed to want to help us. This is our first time flying with United Airlines, and it will DEFINITELY be our last!!!

I made my 25th Trans Pacific flight on Wednesday and have nothing but glowing things to say about United. My wife and I were moving from Costa Rica to Japan. Our Early Tuesday morning flight from San Jose Costa Rica to Los Angeles on Alaska was canceled due to weather. We had to spend the night at a cheapo hotel in Costa Rica on Alaska's dime, but we missed our Noon flight from LAX to Tokyo, so we had to spend the night at LAX. We checked into our hotel at 11:30 PM and I immediately got on the phone to get rebooked on the same flight the following day and it was accomplished. The lounge at LAX was okay. The flight crew on our flight was extraordinarily great in the forward cabin. Friendly, engaging and pleasant is an understatement, but what happened after the flight was totally unexpected. My wife left her electronic tablet at her seat. When we got to where we were staying she got on the phone with customer service at Haneda Airport. I prepared my wife to never see the tablet again. I was wrong. The tablet was found and she arranged to have it delivered to her for a nominal fee. We arrived here on Thursday and the tablet was delivered early Saturday afternoon. What can I say beyond "thanks" for a very positive experience before, during, and after the flight.

Horrible customer service from , lufhtansa, swiss air and united. Business class tickets purchased, but don't have access to their lounge. What a Flippin joke. Last time I'll be flying this horrible star alliance carriers

June 12 RDU-DEN UA 606 10:40 SEAT 14D DEN-YVR 4:20 SEAT 22D Absolutely froze on both flights! I had long pants and a sweater on. Other passengers feeling the same especially on the second flight. Mentioned it to the staff...didn't make any difference. People were turning off the air above their seats as well as any empty seats...did not help! near the back of the of the plane it seemed warmer. My son then took the same plane later that night from YVR to DC and had the same experience!!

Awful airline, I call to cancel my flight and ask if I was going to get a refund, after sending my credential the customer service representative assure me I was going to get my money back on my card. Nothing happened, When I follow up with customer service they told me they were not going to proceed with my refund ... Such unprofessionalism is unheard off..... Awful Airline to fly with.

They specified seats for the ill-fated Max they continue to use from Boeing. Might as well bring a lawn chair it's more comfortable. I know they need to reduce weight but there new seats are not acceptable even in first class. No one cares anymore about customer sat it is all lip service. Just make more so Wall Street raises the stocks for managements stock options. They charge me $8 for wifi and I actually pay for first class. This is wrong. If Delta ran CLE-LAX and back non-stop I would never use United. Oh yes, the wifi works half the time on my flights. I will say the crews we get are wonderful and they really try. Also, the ads that there are TV's in every seat is a lie. And they wonder why we hate them so much. I wish another airline, not low fare crap, ran this route non-stop (direct is not non-stop it simply means you don't skip planes on the next segment) because all of us would switch ASAP. Again I pay for first class and get treated like trash and don't even start me on the food which is the most unhealthy, sugar laden crap they can buy. Go try Delta's food. Much healthier and you can actually eat it. Yes I have complained to United about all this and get lip service.

The title sounds a bit dramatic, trust me I know but it’s the honest truth. We were flying from Vegas to Cancun with a short layover in Houston. They sent ourbag to Newark…… not like a mistake was made with the transfer, nope they just sent it to Newark. Better yet the bag that contained all of my wife’s pregnancy medications. So after explaining how important this t was that the bag be in in the same location as us (novel idea for baggage I know). We had it explained that shipping it the that night of would be to expensive and it would be here next day… sooooo what did I pay a baggage fee for my bags to be with me when I landed……
