Misrepresentation of product; bad customer service
Ordered two cute cat-themed bags as Christmas gifts, because the Uncommon Goods website says they're made of cotton (that's all it said. It did not give a percentage, but it also did not mention any other material). The packaging they arrive in says 100% cotton. But when you take the bag out of the packaging, the tag inside the bag says 100% acrylic, and only the lining is cotton! Very disappointing. I emailed about this twice and never got a response. But even worse, when I finally called about it, they said that since the website says "made of cotton" technically they're not lying and they can't give me any type of refund. Complete misrepresentation of a product, and terrible customer service.

Thank you for reaching out to share your concerns. I’m truly sorry for the confusion regarding the materials of the cat-themed bags and for the lack of responsiveness when you initially emailed us. This is not the experience we want you to have, and I understand your frustration. We strive to provide accurate product descriptions on our website, and I regret that this discrepancy led to disappointment and inconvenience. While the website stated the bags were "made of cotton," the additional material details should have been included to provide full transparency. This situation has been shared with our product team to ensure our descriptions are updated for accuracy going forward. I’m also sorry to hear that your call left you feeling unheard. While it’s true that our policies around refunds may sometimes limit our options, our goal is to resolve issues fairly and compassionately. I’d like to personally review this situation further to see if we can find a resolution that works for you. Please allow me to make it right. If you’re open to discussing this further, feel free to reply to this email or call me directly at 888-365-0056. Your trust and satisfaction mean the world to us, and I’d love the opportunity to restore your confidence in UncommonGoods.
