From the discription in the catalog, l did not realize that the wine bag needed to be removed from the box to use the wooden boxwine dispenser. Therefore, l tried fitting the box into the wooden structure, which just didn't work. l wrote a scathing review to which Allison graciously replied explaining the logistics. The bag must be removed from the cardboard box to be inserted into the dispenser. lt is more difficult to drain the last 1/4th, but it works. Allison offered to let me return it if l wished. The wooden structure is well made and attractive so l resend my one star review and am keeping it. Vesta Harmanphiel

A delivery driver left my order out in the rain instead of delivering to the appropriate package room, thereby ruining my item. I called Uncommon Goods at 8:04 pm ET, and despite the late hour, a customer service representative rectified my grievance within a matter of 5 minutes.

I ordered an anniversary gift for my son and daughter-in-law. It was beautiful and delivered ahead of schedule. Unfortunately, my son's name was spelled incorrectly (just missing a letter) and they rectified the situation. The next gift was crafted as beautifully as the first, spelled correctly and still arrived in time for their first anniversary! It is the only time I've ever had an issue with anything from Uncommon Goods and it was handled very professionally!
