My daughter made the mistake of trusting their salon service and they destroyed her hair. It will take weeks-months before she can correct the color and several months to repair the damage. There are plenty of actual salons in Southbury. Trust me, don’t roll the dice at a retail store!

ZERO stars on app and website, including customer service management who can NEVER help. Zero stars to Ulta in general for making it so hard. I’ve spent hours trying to purchase the deals in my cart with my gift card I have, plus some - and after several attempts over the past 12 months - with customer service involved, they make it impossible. Every online purchase that you try pulling the trigger on, is a SCAM. No joke. I still have yet to purchase anything because the site and app refuse to allow it, always with errors across the board. It’s sad because myself and family of girls have always trusted in Ulta, but seems they don’t invest in a proper app / website / good-practice business. No one should give Ulta their money, as a hard earned $100 is apparently useless to them. Spent too much valuable time trying to place an order over the past 6 - 8 months. It’s atrocious.

Took my daughter in to have an eyebrow tint and threading or a slight clean-up. We have many events coming up, three HS dances, professional pictures and senior pictures. We were evidently the last appointment for the day. Kali jumped in with asking were we threading because of acne and that waxing is cleaner and removes any residual tint on the skin. So she started tinting without really discussing the color. So I began asking questions about the tint and I wanted to be sure it was not reddish. I asked about other services and she sent me to different Instagram pages to look at work of other companies regarding microblading and make-up. Within 10 minutes, she is applying wax and removing a good amount of the eyebrow. The damage was done. And sadly, she removed from the top of the eyebrow, which only enhance a tall forehead and short lid. To add to the insult, the eyebrow is now shaped like a caterpillar with no variation to the shape or tail off at the end. We went in with full pretty eyebrows that just needed to be cleaned up or tweezed and tinted to give full appearance without makeup to now the brows are half gone. Unfortunately, they cannot be put back on. My teenage daughter's confidence was crushed just like that. There should have been a little bit of a consultation and disclosure that she would be removing so much of the brow. We did not ask to have any of the brow removed. This was a devastating event for a teenage girl, and I hope to save anyone else from this kind of experience.

BEWARE When ordering online, using your credit card or debit card. The company will SAVE your credit/debit card to their system and will not allow you to remove your financial banking privacy info without having to go through literal hell to have it removed. No company IN EARTH, should take advantage of you and keep your information ie BANKING unless you specify you want it saved to their site. It took me over 5 hours of talking to chat via phone (who btw are SOURCED out to Asia) where they are unhelpful useless ID.IOTS! They will take your money meanwhile taking away JOBS FROM AMERICANS. I have to wait over 2 weeks before I get a reply letting me know if they will approve to remove my financial banking from their site. HAVE YOU READ THAT? They now OWN MY PERSONAL INFO AND HAVE HELD MY BANKING PERSONAL DETAILS HOSTAGE. This is A CRIMINAL COMPANY, BUYER BEWARE!

I made an appt to full highlight, cut and blowout my hair! After 5.5hrs I don’t have highlights, half my hair is one color other bottom half another! Now I take a deeper look, I have pics, and bottom part y pink and bleached orange parts. Terrible!!!

I placed an order on 2/11, received the order on 2/15 containing the wrong products and the wrong packing slip. Called on 2/15. Was told the order will be reshipped - so now I have to wait another week for my order. Was told the order would be re-processed that day. Received a confirmation email with a new order number. Checked on 2/16 and got an "order not found" error. The re-order should have been expedited due to their mistake, but instead it seems to be taking longer than the original order. Called on 2/16 to find out what was going on and was told the order was still in processing -- 24 hours later. Emailed that same day was given the same order # and link to track. Tried it and got another "order not found" error. Emailed again with the screen shot and got this non-response back: Thank you for responding. Please kindly wait as the reshipment did go through but still on being fulfilled status. Please feel free to respond to this email directly if you have any more questions.
