Ulta is the worst company ever! They have terrible customer service and will not work with you regarding your order. My order was shipped to another location and they refuse to reship my order or give me a refund. This is by far the worst company ever! Do not give them your business!

As large as ulta is. As heavily advertised they are on social media, on tv, etc. I had been dying to order for months, but wanted to wait until black friday. My mother was visiting & we both decided to treat ourselves as we had a deviating year. I registered with ulta months befire, & was getting overwhelmed with nonstop sale advertising emails. So when I check out, and realize I cant... all because I'm in canada. I was speechless. I actually do remember I called them to inquire as to why. The rep said 'I'm sorry, I dont know". I should not be able to register, get your sale ad's fine but then I cant order. I have a blog I guess it's called but it's just for me to keep track of sales in want to keep. And here, I had been sharing ulta sale items... but all for no reason. Because I'm in Canada. Since then, I've stayed with local and was told they will be shipping here soon. However I wont be shopping there.

Got my order after 12 days. No free gift as stated with my purchase. Gave customer service a call. They denied there was a free purchase offer on my order. Not the end of the world or unexpected right? I will never give them my business again due to deceptive practices. Simple.

If I could leave 0 stars I would! I ordered several things through their Black Friday sale. I received an email stating my package had been shipped December 4th it’s now December 14th and it still says my package is waiting for ups to receive it. I understand that it’s the holidays but for them to hold my package for 10 days instead of just giving it to ups I would be this upset. I tried reaching out to them several times to ask them to check on it and I was told if you haven’t received it by the 8th please let us know. I did that then I was told the 10th and I reached out again once again I was told to wait until the 14th I would definitely have it by then. It’s the 14th still hasn’t came I called them once again give it until Friday which is the 19th. If you want something from ulta go to their store don’t order nothing from them online.

Literally the worst customer service. Tried to call and get something resolved and they have already had me on the phone for 30 minutes. Do not buy from them or get their credit card it’s a scam

The manager bullied me indirectly to make a purchase because I was trying to return the online order that had incorrect items. The customer advisor on the phone also waited until I purchased something from the store before she agreed to send a pre-paid label to me to send the incorrect order back which was the company's fault. This issue occurred on Friday 11th November in Raleigh North Carolina - Store 1491, Server - Alexis

My very first time ordering from this company was online, due to COVID. I ordered on 11/12. I hot a confirmation email 2 days later that it had shipped. Almost a month later I still hadn't received my shipment and checked the status with UPS, which showed it was still waiting for carrier pick up. I called in to see the status and was told it was still on their dock and it was getting escalated to tier 2 and someone would call me within 24 hours (this was on a Sunday) I asked why it couldn't be handled now and he said that it was over $100 so he couldn't help me, that a supervisor would have to. 3 days later nobody had called me back, so I called back in. Only to be told that it was being reviewed. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was put on hold for 20 min, before being hung up on. I called back in and demanded to speak to a manager about my order immediately. After holding for another 20 min, I was offered a "reshipment" or a refund. I took the reshipment since it's a Christmas gift for my daughter. Then I was informed that some items on my order are no longer in stock!!!! She offered me comparable, smaller items for the same price. I just wanted it to be over so I said fine. She told me that I'd have to submit another order for the replacement item, that she couldn't do that. Whaaaat!!!??? Fuming by this point. So the status on my reshipment? Same thing. Got an email stating it shipped and expected delivery date was dec 12th....but it shows on ups that it's waiting carrier pick up. I spent over $300 on the only thing my daughter asked for for Christmas and now I have no gift for her and I'm out $300. BUYER BE WARE!!!!!!!

I have two orders worth $100+ with no idea I’ll ever receive them. One says delivered at my front door by some small delivery company I’ve never heard of that isn’t even open on weekends to inquire about it. Says was delivered Friday morning and I didn’t even know it said that until it was too late Friday evening. Ulta says I must wait 3 BUSINESS days before they’ll do ANYTHING. Another package says it has been sitting in my city for a freaking WEEK. I have received countless other packages from Walmart, Amazon, LifeWay, Best Buy and Sephora in the past few weeks with NO issues but maybe a slight delay due to the holidays. I will never order online from them again. Never had these issues until Black Friday rolled around and I guess they cashed in on us going for the sales but don’t care about the customer. They got their money and their happy. I have read so many reviews stating the same issues lately. What happened Ulta???
