Be CAREFUL that you have the right address when ordering a package. Once you hit order, there is NO possible way for them to cancel or reroute the order. Even though it was a min after hitting order and the order was still processing. Have never had this experience before

I attempted to place an order online at check out I entered my gift card information it said it was applied with a $0 balance. I was still having issues checking out so I called the 800 number and representative insisted that I enter my credit card information in order to proceed with checking out even though there was a sufficient amount for the purchase on the gift card. I expressed that I did not feel comfortable doing that so I used my PayPal information instead and it still would not let me proceed with checking out. He told me they needed my credit card information and that it was their policy. Seemed very sketchy so I just hung up.

Literally went to Ulta on Michigan avenue in Chicago Illinois earlier this month on my birthday. I went in the young lady was nice but she literally had no makeup expertise, at least not for a woman of color. I asked her for assistance and upon doing so, she literally grabbed the darkest shades she could find for foundation and concealer. Mind you I’m a lighter skinned woman of color. I’m literally the color of caramel, but she was grabbing colors for brownies. Instead of saying she didn’t know, she carried on with the foolishness of inaccurately color matching until I corrected her. I have very little knowledge of makeup but I know my complexion isn’t super dark. Then I get to the register and the cashier ask me do I want to sign up for rewards, I say no. She says whether or not I’m approved I’d get a discount and a makeup bag. I tell her I hardly wear makeup and I’m just beginning so no, she continued to push and I got annoyed so I said yes. I give her info and I’m approved next thing you know there’s all these extra steps. I ask her if this is a credit card and will it affect my score, she said no, and that she signed up and it didn’t affect hers. I just went ahead and signed up and next thing you know she’s handing me a paper saying to make sure I pay my bill. I was angry of course because I literally have enough credit cards and I wasn’t looking for another and this has taken my amazing score down. I was very upset by the lies and foolery in this place. They literally blew me away in the worse way possible. I’ll stick to Sephora. Now I’m cleaning up the mess I got into trying to be polite because someone had to make a sell, it’s literally ridiculous! This took place March 1st by the way.

I was so very disappointed in your Twin Falls store on Saturday. First of all, I had looked through your catalog & saw they were giving a free gift with any Clinique purchase over $30.00. I was so excited because Clinique is exactly what I needed to purchase!! I also cut out your $3.50 off coupon on the back of your catalog. It was also my birthday month!! I was so happy! I went in & got what I needed. I found the "FREE" gift that was advertised in the catalog & went up to pay! When I got up there I found out that the "Free" gift had to be from behind the counter....There were no more!!! Even though I had one in my hand...there were no more...that one didn't apply. I then was told that my $3.50 off coupon didn"t apply to my purchase! (Of course it didn"t, it never does) Then, I told her it was my birthday month & she told me I needed an email! There was a line behind me & I wasn"t going to make them wait while I found my email! I just gave up!! Three out of three FAIL!!! What I don't understand is this.... why do you print those coupons if they "NEVER" apply to any purchases?? Why do I need to show an email if they ask for my phone number for membership info??? Shouldn"t they have that once I give them my phone #? Isn't that why you give your phone number?? I am so disappointed in your store! The clerk didn't even feel bad AT ALL!!! It was like she got pleasure out of telling me nothing applied!!! I wont shop at your store anymore!!! I'm DONE!!!!

I'll never shop at Ulta again. I placed an order and chose to pay extra to get my package before my vacation. I chose next day air and showed it be delivered 3/29 which was perfect and the day before I leave for vacation. I email them letting them know, and was told I chose a different shipping method that was 2-3 days instead of next day. I found the info infact stating I chose next day. When I emailed back and sent proof all they could say is they would pass it on to their Ulta Operations team and sent me a link to their shipping methods and delivery times. To which now it says what method would of been nex day air says 2-3 days. Again I get told when I informed them it's not right to have shipping methods during check out say one thing when in fact it's wrong according to their website they say again they will pass it on to Ulta Operations team. Honestly to me it's wrong and feels like it's their way to make money on shipping and that's so wrong and unprofessional. They are definitely doing something not right so anyone just be aware before spending extra on shipping to get it sooner.

So, you’re an Ulta manager sitting down with a potential new hire. Do you make sure that the person is: Horribly and disgustingly rude? Check! Do you make sure the person has: no personality and is a miserable human being? Check! Do you also look for condescending, egotistical, narcissistic, hateful, know it alls? Check! Do you also make sure they are extremely lazy and super uninterested in their job and in helping customers? Check! I can go on and on and on..

I went into Ulta to buy magnetic eyelashes and while I was checking out I asked the cashier if she had a list of services they provided because I was thinking about getting my eyebrows tinted. She walked me right over the Krista and she had a opening and was able to tint my eyebrows right away! I had never had my eyebrows tinted so I was a little nervous and later that night I was going out to celebrate my birthday so I was afraid how they’d turn out. Krista did an AMAZING job and was professional and polite the whole time! I absolutely love my eyebrows and I’ve gotten several comments on them already! Thanks again for doing such a great job Krista!!

Shop literally anywhere else. They have the worst customer service of any store I have been to. They consistently do not honor advertised prices. The salon is a nightmare. They ruined my hair went back to have a supervisor fix it and still wasn’t fixed. It’s not even just the stores though corporate is horrible as well. They don’t respond, they don’t value customers, and they are rude.
