Ulta BeautyReviews of ulta.com

The product choices are endless! I’m happy with my purchases, however, I was never treated so rudely by a store clerk in my life! I had never been to this store in my life so I didn’t know how things worked. I went to the front desk to ask a question about where something was and got snapped at. Said clerk told me the purchase line was at the other end of the counter. I was up there to ask a question and got my head bit off. This was at 100 Oaks shopping center in Nashville, Tn. Needless to say. that was my first and last time I will go in that store!

Ulta is my “go to” store for all things beauty, fragrance and hair. I signed up for the Ulta Rewards program, and I don’t have or use an Ulta credit card or any other credit card for that matter. The thing with Ulta is that you get points for every dollar you spend. They accumulate quickly. If you spend so much each year, then you can get to Platinum or Diamond status, where you get more points per dollar. They have different sales throughout the year, and if you buy during the sales and take advantage of free products with purchase, you can rack up some products and savings. They usually always offer free gift with purchase, and a coupon. The trick is to make a list of everything you want and then watch for them to go on sale I never pay full price for anything at Ulta. They have everything beauty, hair, fragrance, bath, body, nails, etc.!!

Their website is terrible. Customer service is the worst. Shipping is slow. DON'T SHOP HERE. YOU'RE MUCH BETTER OFF AT SEPHORA OR SOMEWHERE THAT HAS A DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Worst customer service! False advertising of delivery time (not due to a delay, just advertised fraudulently) and when i requested a refund for my expedited shipping they refused! I provided documentation (screenshot) of the advertised shipping and they still denied me a refund. I will NEVER shop here again! Disgusting!

Somehow my shipping address in the app dropped off my unit #. My package shows as delivered but it obviously went somewhere else, not my house. I contacted Ulta that same night and the CSR I chatted with told me they would make it right and would always do the right thing. After waiting days I was then told there was nothing they could do because my address was wrong, not their fault. They realized I was a diamond member and "oh wait, maybe we can help", only to say no, still not our responsibility. Why not say that from the beginning? I then tried to file a claim with UPS who said Ulta needed to do that....I called them yet again and was told they don't have a procedure for filing claims for lost packages....a multi billion dollar company doesn't have a procedure for filing a claim?!?! The people I spoke to were quite condescending and refused to listen to what I was telling them. They care nothing about their customers and customer satisfaction.

Every time I make the mistake of shopping at ulta something goes wrong. This last time I received some tree hut scrubs and they all looked like they had been opened and dug around in. It was a mess. The second order I wanted a highlighter that was limited addition that it took two days for them to say was out of stock. Now had I known this I would have bought elsewhere . When I talk to their customer service people they are unhelpful and condescending. They even had the nerve to tell me that they would go ahead as a favor and give me free shipping on my order when my order was already free shipping. They also have been holding money hostage and refuse to give back for out of stock item. I tried to cancel items and return items with them and they are the hardest company dto work with. They make it super difficult and it takes forever. Also hot tip don't use afterpay there. The out of stock item refund I have been waiting forever for still isn't there and I can't dispute it because they said the merchant has to do it. If it were paypal or a credit card I could dispute it. After pay makes you go through the company. You know I've heard sephora has a rep for bad customer service but honestly they are five billion times better than ulta. Like I never ask for anything extra from ulta just for them to send what I ask or issue a l refund or a return refund and it's like pulling teeth. I won't shop with them again.

I would of gaven this zero stars if I could online system was saying my cvc code was wrong, wouldn't let me change my billing address what a night mare needless to say I'll buy my products else where.

Good luck using Ulta chat if you have any issues. They have no clue what they are doing. Absolutely no idea how anything works at Ulta. It is pretty bad when the customer knows more than the chat associates who are supposed to be resolving the situation. Deither in the Philippines might as well just save time and say I don’t know and won’t be able to help you. It would save a lot of time for everyone. Think you can try a different person...Myles from an “off shore” call center is even more useless than the first. Have a dog or cat? Ask them and you will probably get more info than chatting with these 2 people. Ridiculous that these people actually get paid to be clueless.
