The store in Cinco Ranch (Houston) Texas is staffed by amateurs. They call to say my phone is ready to pickup, but don't know what they found wrong with it! I contacted their corporate complaint folks, and they called the store and found (surprise!) that indeed zero notes had been entered in their system about what they had done to the phone! It turned out that they had done an external cleaning of the charge port. But the technician had not entered ANY notes on what he had done! I would rate this location (at best) as being "amateurs" in basic business operations.

Galaxy S20 Note Ultra was repaired 10 months ago as I dropped it and broke the screen. New screen was put on and all was well until two days ago. Screen had odd burn in appearance only visible on a gray background screen. I returned to uBreakiFix and with no haggle they replaced my screen under their one year warranty with no questions asked.

ubreakifix more like ubreakibreak some more. last week on thursday i couldn't get on my apps because of something wrong with the pc or microsoft. we go to best buy where we bought the dell laptop but they were talking about 200 dollars which was ridiculous. they recommended that we should go to ubreakifix and that's exactly what me and my mom did. we go there and drop it off for them to fix it as they said it will be ready on monday after they do a diagnostics test. plus they suggested a choice whether to pay the membership every month paying 26 dollars or pay 200 dollars plus tax as of course i chose the cheapest than the expensive. friday and saturday later it's now sunday as i wait the whole weekend for the results. next thing you know my mom spills the tea that they took out the data FROM the computer as we were both pissed and rushed to the store. hell i even ran to the employees only room just to see if anybody was there and for confrontation purposes as the one lady who was sitting in the waiting room was shock cause she thought she was about to witness a big scene. the employees tell me i can't be there obviously as i said okay i'll wait for one of you guys to come out in my i'm not playing voice/tone as my mom has to hold me back but neither of us has emotional control at this point. the guy who was overweight comes out of the only employees room calm but of course on the inside i know he was nervously heartbeatingly scared . he returns the computer but of course we still confront him about taking the data out. he explains that there was too much storage which is why they took it out. i understood that because if they didn't the computer would've crashed. now, i was also mad at microsoft but at the same time i wasn't sure how this happened in the first place. i don't know if it was a virus, a glitch or something that had to be reinstalled i don't know. anyway, we had to go to this other computer place to get a bigger hardrive for the computer. we come back, give it to the employee and leave out as we're gonna pick up the hardrive WITH MY DATA tommorow which is today or monday. also that laptop is important because i use that laptop to edit my videos for youtube. i even used that laptop for when i was homeschooled. mind you this ubreakifix place was near popeyes where we got dinner as i tried the popeyes chicken sandwich for the first time after 3 years but that's another story. so the next day which is today i get off work as my mom picks me up and when we head to the same store again to get the hardrive that has the data on it. i feel bad for my mom at this point cause she has things to do then waist her time on this episode of life and so do i. not to mention they we're talking about 30 DAYS?? just to fix this at first. are you serious no i ain't finna wait 30 days cause i'm not gonna keep dealing with this, i have things to do just like my Mom. you guys either fix this today or tommorow. if you can't find a way to fix it THEN JUST GIVE ME MY GOTDAM LAPTOP BACK AND WILL HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO REINSTALL THIS STUFF!!!. 30 days is like almost a whole other month. that's just bullsh*t anyway, we get the hardrive as we leave the store and go home. currently i thought something was wrong with it but it turns out the laptop was just restarting so they at least did something right. never coming back to this place ever again!. i'll give them credit on doing some stuff right and explaining things as the communication was understood than misunderstood but you didn't have to take out the whole data and if you did why couldn't you put it in a safe hardrive then just have the computer wiped out which yes i got the computer back before we got the data but still this whole thing was just ridiculous af. of the way it had to escalate all because of a error on a pc from microsoft. so in conclusion FORGET UBREAKIFIX WHEN IT COMES TO THE MOST NEGATIVES THAN LEAST POSITIVES AND FORGET BEST BUY A.K.A GEEKSQUAD FOR RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE WHEN THEY'RE SERVICE IS'NT ALL THAT GREAT!. now if you excuse me imma try to make composure (as lord give me strength) with this situation starting tommorow on tuesday and wednsday as well. i understand things happen but i'm not taking this as everything happens for a reason. i'm taking this by calling it yes things happen in life but that dosen't mean you have to always accept it.

They used to be great...My husband recently brought in an ipad to fix the screen. They tried to talk him into a monthly protection plan. When he refused...essentially they asked him to leave the store.

Just recently had my local store fix my cracked screen on my Samsung Galaxy S20. I made a claim through Verizon with the phone insurance program I pay monthly for, first time using it. This business came up as the one to fix it. I stopped into the store after setting it up online. They had my phone for 4 hours and to my surprise, they actually replace the entire phone body and the battery so I have a fresh phone basically! Only docking a star as I found the customer service on the phone a little lacking, they seemed a bit too pushy about committing to their services.

Dont waste your time! I set up an appt to bring in my Nintendo Switch for repair - they called me 4 times to verify the time - after drop off - never got a call back so I called - they have no idea what is wrong with it. lol Waste of time.

We live along the Inside Passage in SE Alaska. It is beautiful but remote. Getting a cell phone fixed is impossible. My wife's phone would not update the software. After hours (literally) with AT&T, then Samsung, we sent to the Seattle uBreakiFix store. They called to tell me they received it and told me what they would do. Two hours later they called to day it was done. New software was loaded. They sent it back and they did it for FREE! I will definitely be back if I need help and am telling everyone. Thank you!

Thank you ubreakifix I was just there, and I expected to pay $70.+ to fix my charging port. The young gentleman took my phone and using his tweezers went in with a magnifying glass and pulled out 2 good sized lint balls and it worked great. Then he didn't charge me. I thought this was a great gesture on his part and I will go back there anytime I need help with a cellphone or computer. Thanks, ubreakifix!!!
