Insane business practice
Insane business practice. Apply for a house and never get a response from the landlord. Turbo collects $55 per applicant and that’s it. The landlord can never respond or make a decision on your application and keep the money. Try reaching out to the landlord with the given phone number and its won’t dial through. Seems like Turbo is allowing fake listings and pocketing the application fees.
Response from TurboTenantJul 15, 2026
Hi Ryan, we're sorry to hear about your experience. We understand how frustrating it is to submit a screening request and not receive a response from a landlord. TurboTenant provides the software that landlords use to market and manage their rentals, but individual landlords are responsible for reviewing applications and communicating with prospective tenants. While we can't require a landlord to respond, we do take reports of potential issues seriously and would like the opportunity to investigate your experience. Please email us at [email protected] with the email address associated with your application and the property you applied to so our team can review what happened. We look forward to hearing from you.
