TurboTenant renewed my services at the premium level ($299) without my request. When I chatted about it, the chatbot said it includes the landlord managing 50+ properties. I own 5. Why would I request that? I upgraded to the Plus level ($149) about 6 months ago. But TurboTenant still refused to refund the difference.

One star is to many for them. First your landlord tries to sell the idea to you because it is super convenient for them. It is not convenient for the tenant and you will be paying more then you agreed to in your lease because your insulted with a convince fee although it is not convenient. It constantly glitches kicks you out and the customer service is slow and usually unhelpful like they hired someone and instead of training them they give them a script to read and send you on wild goose chases going no where so you are fighting and endless loop. This has been a continuous issue from the first day over a year ago working with turbotenant

Hi Ozzy, we're sorry to hear that your experience with TurboTenant has been frustrating, especially over such a long period of time. We understand that convenience is important for renters too, and we're disappointed to hear that you've encountered technical difficulties and haven't felt adequately supported when reaching out for help. While certain payment methods may include processing fees, we want those costs to be clear so renters can make informed decisions. We'd appreciate the opportunity to review the issues you've experienced and better understand where things have fallen short. Please contact us at [email protected] so our team can take a closer look.

My husband and I had a deeply frustrating and stressful experience using TurboTenant to apply for a rental. Because my husband's name was listed first on our joint co-applicant effort, but I completed the application under my SSN while he was at work, TurboTenant’s antiquated software completely failed. It attempted to run my credit report against his name, flagging it as an identity verification failure. When we were instructed to edit the application to put my name first, the system broke entirely, trapping our profiles in an unresolvable technical loop. The only solution was to abandon the account, create a brand-new account with a different email address, and explain the technical mess to the property owner. Worse yet, this glitch cost us three days of critical moving time, and we were forced to pay the screening fee twice. Customer service was non-existent when we needed immediate help, offering no live phone support and restricting communication entirely to slow emails. They flatly refused to refund the duplicate charge caused by their own system's design flaw. We were in the middle of packing and saying goodbye to family, yet we had to waste hours of precious time fighting this system, nearly losing the home we wanted in the process. As a renter, I will strictly avoid any property that requires TurboTenant in the future. Furthermore, as a current rental property owner myself with investments in another location, I will NEVER use this platform for my business. I refuse to subject my own tenants to this nightmare or risk losing good applicants due to broken tech. If you see TurboTenant, run the other way.

Hi Jeff, we're sorry to hear about the difficulties you and your husband experienced while applying for a rental. We understand how stressful that process can be, particularly when you're preparing for a move. Our team has reviewed the account information available to us and reached out to you directly to better understand what occurred. While we haven't been able to verify all of the issues described in your review, we'd welcome the opportunity to investigate further, including any additional accounts or screening payments associated with your application.

I’m a first time landlord who was clueless on everything from how much to rent to the legalities of the contract. TurboTenant popped up in my search for help & I read its description and honestly NEVER looked back. In every way it has quite effortlessly filled every situation or need with ease from setting up the rental agreement specific to my state to keeping me informed on how my tenant feels about their rental. I love TurboTenant. Thank you

Becoming a landlord for the first time comes with so many questions, and we're glad the platform has been there to help you every step of the way. We're grateful you found us and even more grateful that you've never looked back!

Website is broken and the only answer you can get from their support is an AI bot response email. That's not customer service. It drives away potential renters who are trying to apply. I was unable to contact a landlord and complete an application due to the errors.

I am a fan. I was about to pay one of these AI consultants to build me my very own Property Management apps. I told them every thing I wanted and how I hoped it would look and feel. They went out into the market to do some research. After a week they came back and said they cant take my money, there is a product out there that already fits your needs. Then they sent me to your site and the rest is history. I have been using all of Turbo Tenant has to offer and I am very happy. PS. the customer service is old fashion. IF you need some one promptly, they are there to help. Thank you Turbo Tenant. Im a fan.
