unit is heavy and cumbersome. be aware that you have to lift up almost a gallon of water, and it will easily come apart and spill. if there is dust or insects, they will accumulate in the water. it is the same as leaving a bowl of water out for 6 hrs or more. we have a filtered dispenser, and it keeps the water much cleaner, and is easier to clean

I liked the design and that all the advertising showed a continuous flow fountain. Finally received it and put it together only to find it doesn't have a continuous flow fountain. I contacted the company and was emailed back by Janessa. I sent the requested video of how the fountain wasn't working and there's no way my cats are drinking from still water. Back and forth with Janessa, who finally admitted that their advertisements aren't truthful. She said she would make getting my money back quick and easy. Not true. I heard nothing but crickets from 2 emails requesting my money back. Contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute. Now I hear from the company owner, Leonard, crying about the company being small. He offered me 20% of my money back, I can keep the Purestream, and I'll get a 1 year warranty. I again asked for my money back and I told Leonard I wouldn't have bought it had their advertising been truthful. I'm hearing crickets again and I did notice their advertisements on FB are either gone or I've been blocked. My credit card company is still working on the dispute and I'm glad I kept all the emails. Do NOT buy this product!

My cats took right to the fountains.

Best water fountain ever! Tried many, many others and after a short period of time, even with cleaning the units, my cat refused to drink from them. Changing filters was costly and cleaning became more and more necessary with use. This new fountain keeps the drinking water fresh and changing the water as often as I’d like is a simple task and cleaning the unit very fast!

Unit took a month to ship. Unit arrived unworking. Instructions are incomprehensible. Customer service is non-existent. Have requested a return and full refund. May not receive it. Caveat emptor -- this company should be avoided entirely.

The engineering design for this product was amazing, and the communication from the company was amazing, but the product is absolute crap. I have been in touch with the company to express that, and they have ignored me. Do not buy this fountain. If you are of an engineering mind, please build me a fountain that works like this one was supposed to.

Just took 2-3 days for the wife's cat to take to it. We had been using several stainless bowls in different spots in the house, cleaning them and refilling nightly. Her cat, Will Feral is happy, seems to be drinking more. Only weird thing is the in instruction sheet, says to take apart and clean the pump daily for loose hair and any other debris. As it's a sealed water environment, how could stuff even get it the fresh water bowl? other than that, it seems to be a great product.

I had some trouble getting the pump started, but once it started working, it is great. Some more comprehensive instructions either shipped with the unit or available online.
