Not getting what I'm paying for
I've been with Total for around 7 years. To begin with, I refuse to "talk" to any service rep. You cant understand half of what they're saying. So I always use the chat. Guess what? They can spell English just fine. My main issue is, I'm auto paying for two lines, unlimited everything and the Disney+ which I will never use. I needed the unlimited hotspot. I live in a rural area with no cable, no fiber, etc., supposedly on the 5G Verizon network. I have two 5G phones, but have never had 5G at home. If I drive 2 miles away from home, oh look, 5G!! The rest of the time, at home I have 4G/LTE with maybe 1 bar. I have to stand by a window to get that. How is that 5G on this big network? Earlier my SO and I were sitting at the table, talking. He looked at his phone, no service. I happen to look at mine, no service. Back to the window, restart the phone, turn on my hotspot and here I am. My computer is constantly telling me, no internet. So, Total, if you happen to read this, which I doubt, what am I auto paying $95 a month for?? I truly believe that when I contact customer service, a big red flag pops up. I have complained so much and left so much feedback and it seems like it just gets worse, never better. And it's always right before they take the next payment, so I believe they're throttling my service. But I'm stuck until they get fiber out here in BF rural MO.

Actually they get no stars
Actually they get no stars. I had their service 2 days and immediately went back to Consumer Cellular.
I couldn't make calls or receive text messages along with service issues and they promised me credits. One I paid via my bank card and they credited. I also paid for a month of service and was told a credit would be issued back to my credit card which they have not done. I will be disputing it with my credit card company next. " Liars ".
I caution you with using their horrible service.

Charged, but no delivery/service
I have ordered service and phone through Total Wireless website, totalwireless.com on 6/18 evening.
I have my credit card showing a charge for $40 for 1 month service and the Motorola Stylus 2025 model phone. I waited couple of days with no contact. On 6/28 I opened a support case, I was told my issue was escalated and the team will call me when order is ready to ship. On July 1st and 10th, I reached back
out and was told the same from 6/28. I have not only
received my order, the customer support refuses to let me talk to a manager

One Word: Incompetence
I lost the ability to log into my account, being sent through a loop to log in over and over. When I called tech support, they took an hour to tell me that to fix it I needed to move my old account from before Verizon took over Total Wireless, to a new one. Their solution to fix my problem was literally to pay them more money. I am still fighting with them to fix it, and am afraid "fixing" my account will make me lose phone numbers I had for 15 years.
