The literal worst. I had an account for 4 months and could not get into my account at all because the serial/IMEI/ESN and SIM card numbers they set up with my account didn't match the Serial and SIM Card numbers I actually had with my phone. Their IT department just sent me around in circles every time or said they'd call back and never did. And even when I switched providers, I couldn't port my number over because they said the IMEI number didn't match the phone I had. I cannot express my level of frustration with them.

The worst
The worst! $35 wasted for a nonrefundable, non usable service package that I cannot return to the shop and the service tech claim that they cannot look up the service package-even though the SIM number is clear- only the SIM pin is smeared. The last numbers of pin code were completely unreadable. I called for help and wasted two hours with three representatives. They actually told me that I needed to guess the last numbers of the unlegible code and if I was wrong, I couldn't use it (!?).
They claimed that they could not identify the service package pin code by any of the other numbers listed on the packaging. Customer Service then said that I also could not use the SIM card itself, and that I should not have bought the service package without calling them first(?!) Therefore, I cannot have a refund. I questioned if this was even a legitimate business.

Total Wireless is bad if you lose your phone.
They says Total Wireless is owned by Verizon but there is no comparison. If you loose your phone and have to deal with Total Wireless, good luck. The CS in my experience was poor. Example: they give you the option to call you back instead of waiting but when the call comes in it's just them calling you to just go back in line to hold for another 15 minutes - absurd! Worst outcome? They blocked my stolen phone and in the process and also lost and blocked my phone number I've had for 25 years. The prices they charge can easily now be matched or beaten by the top cell companies. $35 is a highway robbery for the low priority reception I get and poor customer service from Total Wireless.

Nightmare experience, customer service useless
Man you better hope you don’t have an issue because customer service is useless. They have made things worse every time and give you wrong information. They told me my order didn’t go through so i placed it again and now i have two phones. They gave me a label to return it with no barcode so UPS can’t send it back. That one came with earbuds but the one i opened first didnt. They told me the plan i bought with it would be refunded when i return the phone but the label says plans are not refundable. It got linked to my family plan when I signed up for my own and they wouldn’t help me because I don’t have the family plan info and they didn’t tell me that was the problem so i had to guess and ask my family about it. I called to switch it over to my own plan and they simply deactivated my service and the call dropped and i had so phone service instead of switching it so i had to call again and activate. Just been a disaster. Then when my mobile data was slow on the second week and i asked if i had used all of my fast data already they said they couldn’t disclose that to me! Absolute BS. Also i was scheduled for a call back about my extra phone im trying to return thanks to their mistake and they’re 10 minutes late so far getting back to me, I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t call at all. Long story short it’s been a nightmare.

Wish you had negative stars
Wish you had negative stars. Worst customer service in my life. Been with them for several years. You will get run around when you call if they don’t hang up on you. Go anywhere but total wireless. They are awful.

I was a customer for over a year with no problems with the phone service but the customer service or lack thereof is a joke. They keep transferring you and then drop the call hoping you will give up. Be cautious of auto pay because they double billed me 4 days apart and I had to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge.

I upgraded my data to high speed data…
I upgraded my data to high speed data and Total Wireless failed to upgrade it. At 611, she requested I reset my network connection and then I lost all my WiFi passwords, I contacted 611 four times. I had to go through the automated voice and request a representative three times each time. Each time they texted me a verification code and each time I had to start from the beginning. The third call, was the most helpful with my being told that even though I had added high speed data, Total Wireless had failed to refresh my connection, but the call dropped while I was waiting for them to refresh them. The final time, after repeating for the fourth time to a different support representative that the phone was buffering and pictures were not visible, just blank colored boxes, I was told I had to purchase more minutes. When I asked when my plan expired, she was unable to tell me. I had been told in a previous call that my account was in order. The fourth representative would not give me her name. I was just given the runaround. If you purchase the unlimited plan, you should be okay. If you purchase the $35 plan, you will run out of high speed data before your plan ends and will have to pay $10 to upgrade it. If it fails to work, support are not trained to assist you and each time you call, you will have to start over. My son recommended Mint Mobile.
