Sustainable Life-Changing Program
I know it's expensive...BUT this has saved me a lot of potential health issues; maybe my life. Did I lose a ton of weight? No. Did my bloodwork change drastically? Absofreakinlutely, Yes. This program was worth every penny - and I'll tell you why: I am 53 and in perimenopause, possibly full menopause (the next 6 months will determine that). FIT and HEALTHY must include what is happening INSIDE. It doesn't always translate to what you see on the scale, and if your bloodwork is in the gutter, no one cares about the extra inch or five around your waistline. That will improve with time if you're on a truly healthy, sustainable path. I have been on and off vegetarian / vegan for the better part of 2 decades but I just wasn't eating the right stuff and my protein consumption was terrible. Before I joined Blueprint, I knew I had to dig in and eat more greens/fiber to help lower my Cholesterol. Shortly before I started Blueprint, I had my bloodwork done. My LDL cholesterol was not good (202). My Doctor (UCLA) wanted me on a statin, but, after I talked with her, she allowed me a few months to "prove" I could lower it without a prescription. She had major doubts, and she expressed that. I got it down a bit with mostly diet (I'm kind of a lazy fitness person, in my opinion), but my Dr still told me I could benefit from taking a cholesterol lowering med. I refused. Then I joined Blueprint and changed my diet even more, that now I don't even qualify for the medication. My Doctor was astounded. She praised me for my hard work and the proof is literally in the (poop) pudding. (poop pudding is a recipe that Rose created and the name just kills me lol) Here are my stats & Timeline: Cholesterol LDL March 2024: 202 negotiated w/ Dr to give me a few months to lower it without a statin. re-committed to being mostly plant based. August 2024: 167 Dr offered me to still chose to take a statin. I said no. October 2024: Joined Blueprint - Increased protein (80-100g / day!) + lots more fiber Feb 2025: 133 202 - 133 in less than a year! My weight dropped by 5 pounds, but I have increased muscle mass by lifting heavy weights at the gym during this program. Not a lot of weight loss on the scale but I know my body is on the right path. The path for longevity! Coach Katie provided me with some basic menus a few times and of course, the book that Rose created with recipes is helpful, but I mostly did not use them. You will need to prep well - that might mean meal planning for the week, that might be batch or meal prepping as well. It takes work, but you have to work at something like this to make changes. And you've invested all this money so why wouldn't you?! Katie (Who is Dr. Katie, btw, and well qualified) - also programmed workouts for me that were both for the gym and at home based on the equipment I have. Your relationship with your coach is like any Professor / Student relationship. If you ask the questions they are there for you. If you don't participate, you will not get out of it what you thought you might. You must be committed to do some work. Ask all the questions. Be the pest. One of the reviewers below mentioned Trader Joes products - the thing is, that's just there for you if you can not cook, won't cook, don't have time, or are really transitioning into a completely new way of eating. They are examples. I looked at the macros for a TJ's product and found a suitable substitute at my local Sprouts from a name brand. No, you do NOT have to eat processed foods. Lentils & Greens are my obsession now - with a yummy sauce. Rose & the team also share some cool things they find elsewhere online - You can also make your own Seitan from scratch and there is a link to that recipe. They encourage you to experiment and to try things out - they provide you with the macros and you can eat whatever you want, provided you hit your numbers. I went into this thinking they would tell me what to eat and when, no side adventures allowed. That was wrong. I have learned how to make healthy decisions for myself - THAT is what makes this sustainable. It's not a diet. I got a roadmap for sustainable, healthy living and I can just build on it, and test things out as I go. Even with a few Hershey Kisses in my plan. Not every day is going to be perfect, and that is fine! Katie & team also showed me how to be kind to myself. That is freedom.

Thank you so much for sharing your story! Your commitment, curiosity, and persistence are exactly what make this kind of transformation possible. You proved to yourself—and your doctor—what’s possible with the right support and sustainable tools. It’s been such a privilege to walk alongside you in this journey. Coach Katie
