My wife got me the Photostick for Christmas.I used the product for a few weeks on my Mac. It did the initial backup properly. The stick didn’t work probably on subsequent backups. It froze and didn’t do a complete job. The stick is now failing, it can not be read. Don’t buy this product. Get a real backup service. This is junk.

Le support a essayé de m'aider mais la réponse finale a été cinglante. L'interface ne viens qu'en anglais, même si je l'ai acheté en français. Je ne peux pas l'utiliser. En plus en essayant de l'utiliser, il prend une éternité pour se mettre en marche et je ne peux meme pas voir les photos. Ce système est Nul, absolument nul. Le support est nul et ils ne sont pas prêts à aider les étrangers qui ne parlent pas l'anglais. Je suis furieux, absolument furieux. J'ai dépensé mon argent pour rien. N'ACHETEZ PAS CE TRUC. Même après 22 minutes, la roue tourne toujours et c'est écrit: Loading. C'est de la m.... Mise-jour. Après 2 heures, rien GOOGLE TRADUCTION I just received the photostick. It is extremely slow and on top of that I can't even see my photos. The interface is in English only. Support tried to help me but the final response was scathing. The interface only comes in English, although I bought it in French. I can't use it. Besides trying to use it it takes forever to turn on and I can't even see the photos. This system is null, absolutely null. The support sucks and they are not ready to help foreigners who cannot speak English. I am furious, absolutely furious. I spent my money for nothing. DON'T BUY THIS GAME. Even after 22 minutes the wheel is still spinning and it says: Loading. This is s.... Update: After 3 hours, nothing.

I bought the Photostick which says it is for Mac and PC. After having many issues and dealing with the support people 3 different times I have just been told that it doesn't work with a MacBook Pro and that I should have bought the Photostick mobile (for iPhones and iPads). How would I have known that? What a frustrating, ridiculous waste of money! The support person told me they are sorry for the inconvenience. They will be updating their website. How does that help me? I'm out $100 and can't save the family photos I needed to save. UPDATE: After a very frustrating evening dealing with support people who were unwilling to help, this review at Trustpilot led me to Debby. Debby at ThePhotostick refunded my money in full and provided the information I needed about the device that should work for me. Thank you very much Debby! I am much happier now. The device I had purchased did work for me on a PC and it is a very useful device to quickly retrieve and store photos. Just make sure you get the right one!

The photo stick didn’t work for me but Debby in customer services was very helpful and arranged a full refund.

Last used my photostick in 2019. Tried to use it today on two different computers and it will not open. Very disappointed. Is this usual?

On my PC running Windows 10 I have 1002 picture folders with 12,406 pictures that I wanted a backup of. With PhotoStick in hand and after watching the tutorial videos and reading through the user guide I plugged it in and opened the program. I only wanted to scan the Picture folder to pick up all the subfolders so I checked the picture folder box which in turn highlighted all the subfolders. After hitting save I was back at the main screen where you hit Go for it to start. It ran for just over 4 hours and took 23.17 GB of space on the 125 GB stick. Now I have a backup of all my precious pictures that I can keep in a safe place.

Update: The refund department made this transaction PERFECT. They originally did not refund the shipping and taxes but since my last review have done so. Thanks Photostick.
