Had a pipe break in the wall. They gutted my bathroom, demolished half of my kitchen, and ripped up part of my carpet in the bedroom, and removed part of a wall. They only want to give me 17k total for all of that because they put it all under the 10k mold limit?? They did give me an extra 7k for the bathroom (a formally mosaic tile bathroom) which won't cover basic repairs, much less tile. Took them over 7 months and had to get a public adjuster. This company is a joke. Their own preferred contractor even told them mold was caused by the pipe breaking, and mold wasn't that bad, maybe waiting so long to make petty decisions could have caused the mold. 100% would NOT recommend this company. 7 months and my house is still unlivable.

The company basically said you have to be a senior citizen or at the age of 50 or above to get a quote. Wasted 20 minutes of my life.

I had a very disappointing experience dealing with The Hartford Insurance as the insurance company for the driver who rear-ended my vehicle. Although I was not at fault, The Hartford did not pay the full amount needed to properly repair my car. Because of their decision, I was forced to pay out of my own pocket to have the repairs completed. I don't believe an innocent third party should have to cover repair costs caused by someone else's insured driver. The claims process was frustrating and stressful. Instead of making me whole after the accident, I felt like I had to fight to receive fair compensation. In my experience, The Hartford focused more on minimizing the claim than ensuring my vehicle was properly repaired. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend The Hartford. I hope they improve the way they handle third-party claims and treat people who are simply trying to have their vehicles restored after an accident that was not their fault.

My experience with The Hartford regarding a Paid Family Leave claim has been extremely disappointing. The claims process was unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. I was repeatedly asked to submit the same documents multiple times, despite having already provided the requested information. Instead of receiving timely assistance, I experienced delays, poor communication, and a lack of effective claim handling. During a time when families need support the most, I felt that my concerns were not treated with urgency or care. The process created unnecessary stress and left me feeling that customer needs were not a priority. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend The Hartford for Paid Family Leave claims. I would encourage others to carefully research their options before choosing this company. Overall, a very poor customer experience. 0% satisfaction

There isn’t a zero so I guess it has to be one. I filed a short term disability on 6/2. It still hasn’t been approved. I have made several phone calls. I called my claim person and left 5 message and I got absolutely no response. I have never ever dealt with a short term company that is this inept. Even the military was far more efficient. Hartford has delayed my disability so I have not been paid the entire month of June. Stay far Away from this company.

Called to compare rates after the Hartford insurance sent me a letter asking to compare them to other insurance companies. They would send me a gift if I called and compared I did and the Hartford was much higher than all other companies. I asked about the gift and was told I would get a email in the next day explaining the gift. The email never came nor the free gift. There promise is poor which let me know that it is not a company I want to work with even if there product was comparable

Filed a claim for hail damage from a storm. Adjuster stated the roof was too old for it to be covered (20 years) so they would only give us pennies on the dollar. Yesterday we got a call. They’re dropping us because the roof is too old meaning the house is too old! The house is not even 60 years old!!!! This company is crap!

If I could leave a zero I would. This is the 2nd time I have filed a short term disability claim with this crap company. They don't pay until you are basically back to work. I pay for a service and I have to do all the work. My case worker NEVER reached out and the first time was in December and they were out for 2 weeks. It's just terrible all around and I wish my employer would change companies. The Hartford sucks.
