I didn't want to give them a 1 because I can't give them a -1 or a zero. This insurance suppose to be for older people, but they screw them over! My Auntie had insurance with them and she was in an accident and they totaled her car, and kept it paid the money to the finance company and didn't completely pay off her car! They took her car and left her a $4000 balance! They didn't ask if she wanted to buy back her car; they have it and she has a balance. Since she has a total she should have possession of the car. They now won't take her calls and a female employee is always rude to her. We're going to do something about this situation!! Stay away from this company because they are worthless when it comes to our senior citizens.

I was totally surprised by the lack of service from The Hartford Insurance when some lady smashed into my parked, unoccupied car. Not only did The Hartford rep not help me at all, she gave me vague, canned rude answers, peculair email responses. I finally did the leg work The Hartford should have done. I had to get the police involved to get my repaired car and the keys back, with again NO help from The Hartford. I gladly cancelled The Hartford and their overpriced car no value insurance poilcy. I found a better, cheaper, more reliable insurance company. Good riddance, the Hartford.

What have I gotten myself into, I have experience from one lie to the next. I called them because I have been paying way too much money for my previous insurance. Being that I am a member of AARP I figured that this was a trustworthy company and that I could save. My original quote and with my driving record I was told that I was going to save a significant amount of money. Then when I told the representative how much I would be saving that's when all hell broke loose. She came up with a ticket that was over 5 years which should not count and just for no reason my insurance quote went up higher than what I am currently paying with my past company. By now I have already canceled my insurance company and I don't feel like switching back and forth. I called this company to ask them why did my premium go up from what I was quoted by almost $2,000. I only have one ticket within the last 5 years. She couldn't find anything and she told me that she could not share with me any of their under writer rules because now she is telling me that because I had a claim of vandalism on my car which was not any fault of my own I was being held liable and that is why my rate went up so high. I am beginning to think that these underwriters are making their own rules and laws and is pocketing my hardworking money. Of course this review is not going to be shared because this company gets to share the reviews if they want to or not. You better believe that I will get to the bottom of this mess because I work too hard and I am struggling too hard to be giving people my money!!!!

My experience with The Hartford has been one of the most frustrating and stressful customer experiences I have ever had. Although liability for the accident was accepted, the handling of my total loss claim has been slow, confusing, and unfair. What makes this even more disappointing is that I was not proactively informed that my vehicle had been declared a total loss. After hearing very little about my claim, I personally visited the collision center to check on my vehicle and was surprised to learn from them that the vehicle had already been determined to be a total loss. This is information that should have been clearly communicated to me by the insurance company. Since then, I have spent months battling over the valuation of my 2023 Tesla Model Y Long Range AWD. The Hartford relied on a third-party valuation company whose reports contained discrepancies and inconsistencies. I reviewed the reports myself, identified issues, and submitted numerous current market listings and supporting documentation showing comparable vehicles listed at significantly higher prices. Despite providing this evidence, the valuation remained far below what I believe is the fair market value needed to replace my vehicle. What is most frustrating is the amount of time and effort this process has required. I have spent countless hours making phone calls, reviewing reports, researching comparable vehicles, gathering evidence, sending documentation, and repeatedly following up on my claim. This has impacted both my personal life and my work. Instead of being supported through the claims process, I have felt like I have had to do the work myself while continuously fighting for a fair valuation. My wife and I have also been significantly impacted by the loss of our vehicle. For nearly three months, we have been forced to manage with no vehicle while this claim remains unresolved. The rental vehicle provided was a very basic model that lacked many of the safety features and functionality of my Tesla and was only available for a limited period. Once the rental ended, we were left without adequate transportation while the valuation dispute continued. Living without a vehicle for months is not a minor inconvenience. It affects daily commuting, work schedules, appointments, family responsibilities, and overall quality of life. The delays in resolving this claim have created unnecessary hardship and stress for my family. I am still dealing with this, not sure when Hardford resolves this Throughout this process, I expected The Hartford to act fairly, communicate clearly, and make a genuine effort to determine the true market value of my vehicle. Instead, I have experienced delays, poor communication, valuation discrepancies, and a settlement offer that does not reflect the actual market value of a comparable replacement vehicle. I hope The Hartford reviews its claim handling procedures, communication practices, and third-party valuation process so that future customers do not have to experience the same level of frustration and hardship.

The new website is not user-friendly anymore! It is stripped down of most of the helpful information, including user ID, and information about payments etc. Why did you break the system by creating a problem that didn't exist? It used to be a great website for users now it's just confusing and not helpful at all!

Our vehicle was stolen on 5/19 and reported to the insurance company. Recovered on 5/20 and were told it was a total loss. They only cover a rental car for seven days from the recovery and what they allow isn't enough to cover a car. We're paying out of pocket. Still waiting for our money to cover the lost vehicle. Paperwork is sent via snail mail. No sence of urgency on their part.
