The food smells great, but unfortunately my dog is such a picky eater, she’s not eating much of it. I’m so sad that she won’t eat more. She is elderly 16 years old … don’t let this deter you from trying it.

We completely understand—some dogs, especially seniors, can be very picky eaters. It’s completely normal for her to be hesitant at first. Many owners find success by mixing Happy Howl with a small amount of their usual food or warming it slightly to release the aroma, which can entice even picky seniors. We really appreciate you giving it a try, and your note is helpful for others, sometimes it just takes a little patience for elderly pups to adjust.

Both my dogs love the Lamb but won't eat the Beef or Fish. But they are both picky eaters.

My puppies are used to me making them home cooked meal such as chicken and rice with veggies. They do not like the consistency and therefore I still had to mix chicken breast and more food. It's an option for store bought food but it will take time for them to adjust.
