Happy Howl

About Happy Howl

Where it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

I absolutely LOVE Happy Howl

I absolutely LOVE Happy Howl - and so does Mr. Max! I love it because it's easy to store since it's shelf stable and it smells SO good, I kind of want to try it myself (I'm pretty sure I'd love it since it's REAL food). You can actually SEE the ingredients - green beans, carrots, blueberries, little bits of meat. Mr. Max loves it because, at 15 years old and with only 3 teeth in his head (and those 3 are all on the bottom!), he has no issues eating Happy Howl - just exasperation with me that I can't get it to him faster because he loves it so much (so much so I had to buy a slow-eater bowl for him since he was gulping it down and wanting more more more... slowing down his rate of eating solved that problem although I don't think he'd much mind if I gave him more!). Since he needs to lose a little bit of weight, I've only ever fed him their Turkey recipe but I have no doubt all the others are just as good. Finally, their service is just terrific. I always order their 36-pack and they let me know when that order is about to be charged. When it's shipped, I have it within a day or two - again, absolutely fantastic. Happy Howl should be on the pantry shelf of anyone who loves their dog...

15 years young, 3 teeth, and a total passion for mealtime—Mr. Max has completely stolen our hearts! Hearing that he needs a slow-feeder bowl because he's gobbling down his Turkey recipe so fast brings the absolute biggest smile to our faces. And you know what? You actually can try it! Every single recipe is 100% human-grade, and several of us on the team have actually tasted it ourselves—it really is that good! We are so grateful for your kind words about our delivery notifications and packaging. Give sweet Mr. Max an extra big pat on the head from all of us!
