Happy HowlWhere it started:Rocky changedeverything andI never set out to start a dog food company. My husky Rocky had the worst stomach on the planet. Years of vet visits, prescription diets, and hundreds spent on premium food brands. We tried everything. Nothing worked. So I decided to build it myself. 36 recipe iterations. Countless hours with vets and nutritionists. All chasing one question: what’s the best food we could possibly make for a dog? When we finally got it right, Rocky was the proof. He hasn't been sick in over 18 months. He runs three miles with me every morning. That's the standard every Happy Howl bowl is held to. Nothing less.Colin Buckley– Founder

My dog liked the food but to use it for more than a topper would b too expensive
Response from Happy HowlJul 20, 2026
We totally get that! Investing in fresh food can definitely get pricey, so using it as a meal topper is actually one of our favorite hacks. It’s a fantastic way to get those clean ingredients and great flavor into their diet while keeping things budget-friendly on your end. We're so glad your pup is a fan of the taste, and we really appreciate you finding a way to make us a part of their mealtime!

I order 24 boxes every 3 weeks for my 3 pups. Now my order is taking 10+ days to be delivered from PA to AZ which means I need to order it every two weeks which is over $300. Why is it taking 10+ days from order to delivery? I've been out of this food now for 10 days so i have some adjusting to figure out. Chewy might be more reliable.
Response from Happy HowlJul 21, 2026
I am so sorry for the delay and for leaving you in a pinch without food for your pups! 10+ days from PA to AZ is far too long, and we completely understand your frustration. This shipment routed from Pennsylvania instead of our usual Utah warehouse because it included your free Happy Joints Supplement reward (currently stocked only in PA). Your recurring food-only orders will continue to ship from Utah to ensure quick, reliable transit times so you don't have to adjust your ordering schedule. Please reach out to our team directly so we can make this right and help you get back on track!

DOGS SCARFD IT UP BUT HAD DIARRHEA THE NEXT MORNIG
Response from Happy HowlJul 20, 2026
I am so incredibly sorry to hear this! It is always a stressful situation when they absolutely love the taste of a new food but their stomachs don't cooperate the next morning. Sudden menu changes can definitely shock a pup's system. To help their tummies adjust smoothly, we always recommend a very gradual transition schedule over a week and a half: Days 1–3: 25% Happy Howl, 75% Current Food Days 4–6: 50% Happy Howl, 50% Current Food Days 7–10: 75% Happy Howl, 25% Current Food Day 11+: 100% Happy Howl We truly hope their digestive tracks settle down quickly, and we are so grateful to you for giving us a try!
