The Farmer's DogReviews of thefarmersdog.com

Although Farmers Dog is slightly expensive I have seen great improvements in my dog. He is more energetic, overall seems like himself again. He loves the pork recipe.

The Farmer's Dog I started my overweight 13 year old puggle on your amazing food and he loves it. He is loosing the required weight and he looks fantastic. Thank you for making this healthy and delicious food for our pets. My dog was on his death bed. He wouldn’t walk anymore we had suggestions by many to put him down because he was suffering and his hips will not support him anymore. Well 6 weeks later after feeding him your life saving food my Rocco rejuvenated 5 years. He not only walks now. He runs a little now. He goes for walks outside now he is even swimming in our pool. The food is a little expensive for our budget but well worth it with the extra expense. I got my Rocco back. He came in to my life on 2009 as I was fighting cancer for the second time and had given up on life. From the first day we met we became inseparable and he gave me life. He also has saved my life on 2 other occasions. I’m a retired stage 4 cancer patient I was with the Fire Department of NYC for 25 years. Got cancer from the WTC disaster. But my Rocco keeps me alive. Thank you again for giving my Rocco back with your amazing product. My Best regards.

I am on my 3rd shipment of The Farmer's Dog food for my Havanese. She loves it and is healthy and I love it because it arrives frozen and ready to pop into the freezer or I can defrost a packet and get ready to feed her in 3 hours or less. The shipping container is bio-degradeable which helps our environment. It is very well managed and I would not change a thing.

-Saved a few hundred dollars in vet bills by switching to The Farmers Dog. Skin cleared up, teeth got better, lost weight, not vomiting randomly. -I can personally attest the food tastes good. It’s real food you can see in the bag (celery, potatoes, meat, corn, carrot, etc.) -My dog has never turned down a meal since switching. -More appropriate bathroom usage now. -Personable customer service for questions. -I literally cannot forget to get him food, it autoships.

Our experience with Farmer’s Dog food is basically peace of mind. You literally know that your feeding your dog the most nutritious, fresh food available for them. I feel such gratification that our dog is enjoying healthy food that she devours immediately! Thank you Farmer’s Dog!

Our dog loves the food - cleans his plate every time! I love the convenience and the company is very responsive. No more worries about running out of food and having to get to the store.

Stewy and I are new to The Farmer's Dog, but we are elated!! Prior I would have to sit with him to eat his kibble - and it had to have a treat sprinkled over it. Now he waits patiently and happily for his new food. He loves it and I love it for him! Thank you SO MUCH! Denise

Recently I decided to give the Farmer's Dog a try for my 3 small dogs. I chose the DIY option using their nutrition packet because I thought it might be more affordable. But, with the cost of groceries right now I'm not so sure. First, buying the amount of human grade food that is required for each recipe is still very expensive. Making their food is also very time consuming. I weigh by the gram all of the ingredients. It takes me all afternoon to make enough food for 2 weeks. I am still transitioning them to the food. They have been eating it for about a week now and I haven't fully transitioned them yet because one of my dogs has a super sensitive tummy to any food changes. I put half of their old food (Instinct canned which they LOVE) on one side of the bowl and the Farmers Dog food on the other side of the bowl. They gobble up the Farmers Dog food first every time. Then they eat the canned food. My plan is to figure out how much I am spending on groceries to make their food and the amount of time I am spending cooking their food vs the cost of just going with the prepared food option from the Farmers Dog. It's very expensive either way, of course, but as with most dog owners these days, the health of my dogs makes it worth it if you can afford to do it.
