I didn’t receive one of my items because it was back ordered. They never sent it and when I contacted them to ask about it they tried to bill me for it again. Towels were falling apart a few months after purchase.

Don't expect your merchandise without hounding them!
This Company takes your money and that's it. Order placed 10/05 and after multiple calls, was told today, 11/18, they will be shipping in near future. No communication as to why. Definitely would not recommend this company.

Defective Product Runaround
I bought two sets of percale sheets in Jan 2021. Several small tears appeared in the bottom of the flat sheet in one set. I examined the bed closely and nothing explains these tears other than a flaw in the material. I called and was surprised to get the run around being past 90 days blah blah. When I asked if she wanted to lose me as a repeat customer, I was transferred to a supervisor who doubled down on the runaround. I again asked if she wished to lose me as a future customer. Her response was to bump my concerns to headquarters where someone will call me in 72 hours. Defective products should never amount to a hassle like this for any customer.
Also, I have been bombarded with printed catalogs every since the purchase and twice asked for it to stop. This customer service should be relabeled "company service". I will mend the tears but that ends doing business with such clueless people.

Very Poor Service
This week I tried placing an order online however, the web site clearly was not working properly and I had to call in. Got a guy who placed my order but when I got the receipt it was the incorrect amount. I had to call in again and talk to someone who said she'd fix it and I got another email with the right amount. In the interim, I got a call from a live person apologizing for all the problems. She also said she'd upgrade my shipment to overnight. This was not true and I have not received my item. This is one of the worst companies that I have ever dealt with. Poor customer service, poor web, employees that tell you one thing but do something else. I will no longer shop this site and if I do not get my item next week, it will be yet another call.

Charged me twice for the same order.
On July 28, I placed an online order for a considerable amount of merchandise at a considerable cost using my PayPal account. All the items shipped except two bathmats, which I was informed were backordered until early October. Okay, fine, supply chain problems, I get it. I had to follow up on my order by email in August because TCS did not communicate about the shipping status of several items not on backorder.
One backordered bathmat arrived several weeks later. The other bathmat did not. I continued to wait out the backorder date. That date came and went. I was never contacted by TCS about shipment. I waited one full week past the backorder date to contact TCS. I contacted TCS on 10/13/21 by email. "Destiny" responded and stated that the item was in stock, but because they don't charge until shipment and it had been so long since I placed the order, my PayPal authorization expired. They needed updated payment information to ship the item. Okay, fine. I called TCS and spoke to "Miles" who took my debit card information -- and also stated that the item was NOT in stock. Despite that, he said he processed the backorder and then mumbled something about how they would have to charge the full amount of my initial order: "but don't let it freak you out." And we hung up, and I had that, "Wait, what did he just say?" moment. They're charging me for my full order again?
Uh, yeah. So, my debit card was charged on 10/13/21 for the full amount of my initial order -- not just for the bathmat. Of course, this charge was a deduction from my checking account. And it is a large expense that I was not anticipating at this time.
I immediately called TCS again, and this time, I actually got "Destiny" on the phone. I asked "Destiny" why I had to be charged again for my full order when I'm only missing a bathmat. "Destiny" claimed that the only way I could get my bathmat via the backorder was if they charged the full amount of the order again. She gave me some story about how they can't separate the one item from the full order without losing the order entirely, and, you see, since they only have X amount of bathmats available, I would fall out of place in line for my bathmat and someone else would get it. We went back and forth several times about this completely illogical method of doing business and how it has now wreaked havoc on my checking account. She apologized, said she understood, she even said, "It sucks, but this is how we have to do it." And she promised me, promised, promised, promised, that when the bathmat shipped, I would only be charged for the bathmat and the full amount of the order would be credited back to my checking account -- at the latest -- on Friday, 10/15. And I asked, "How do I know this is going to happen the way you say?" And "Destiny" said, "Because we do this all the time."
Yeah, so, the bathmat shipped yesterday, 10/15. And, of course, I did not get my money back "Destiny" promised, promised, promised into my checking account. I will have to make a third call to TCS today to find out where my refund is. If you're keeping track at home, this will actually be my fifth contact with TCS about this order.
I will never order from The Company Store again after this experience.
UPDATE 1, 10/16/21: Called TCS to get the "hold" on my checking account released. Learned that "Destiny" was dishonest in stating the "hold" on my account would drop on 10/15/21 when the item shipped. Furthermore, "Breanna" stated at first that my bank had to release the "hold" (????) and then later stated that I had authorized a 7-day hold, which I had not. Was transferred to "Connie" in "authorizations" who stated that the "hold" should drop off within a few days. I am now stuck with a huge deduction from my checking account over the cost of a bathmat.
***Do not order from TCS.*** Whether they are dishonest, antiquated, mismanaged, or all of the above, clearly there is a problem with the way they do business.

Poor Customer Service
I've purchased several items over the years and though I've been satisfied with the quality of the products, their customer service leaves much to be desired. I've had multiple bad customer service experiences with them. My most recent experience relates to their exchange policy. I recently purchased four pairs of slippers over the phone and when I asked if I could exchange them for a larger size if necessary, the salesperson stated I could in fact make an exchange. However, when I called to ask if I could exchange the slippers for a larger size (for the discount sales price I initially paid, I was told no. I'd have to return the item, pay the return fee, and place a new order for the regular price.
I get daily promotional items from this company, including "site-wide discount sales" that are bait and switch and/or misleading advertising in that not all items on the site are included in the promotional sale. I will no longer be a return customer. Their emails will be directed to my junk email box.

Catalogs till the day you die...die...die
We purchased one item from them about two years ago. Now we get their fat catalogs incessantly, about every 2-3 weeks, wasting money and resources. I have requested twice (calling in person) for them to stop, and they will not. They go straight in the recycle. Hope you want them to be your buddy until the day you die.
