I have ordered a TV on black friday, and fair, enough, I was warned that black friday deliveries could take "between 5 and 7 days" to delay. Well lo and behold, today is 17 days after black friday, and my TV still has not been delivered.
I have tried tracking my parcel online; the thing has been chilling in "Location 05" for the last 14 days (wherever location 05 may be). I have called multple times, and nobody could give me any information. I have sent an email to their support department; that was exactly 7 days ago, and still have not received any answer.
Please don't make the same mistake as I did; order anywhere else if you actually want to get what you pay for.

Lack of logic
Why when Tesco sell wines by the box (6's) do they then deliver them unboxed?
Worse - although I said no carrier bags - they delivered them in plastic bags - 2 bottles per bag.
Lacking logic and customer service!
The driver was great.

Tesco or Trotters Independent Traders - difficult to tell the difference.
I can only rate Tesco on the service I have experienced.
Ordered a microwave online on Black Friday, received email advising that the item will be available to pick up at my local Tesco store the following Friday.
Used the tracking option to follow the item, however, it seemed to be stuck at their Leamington Spa depot from the 27th of November.
Contacted Tesco yesterday, I was advised that they would chase up the courier service and come back to me, no promised feedback received.
My wife then contacted them and was informed that no-one called the courier to check on delivery, to add insult to injury she was then informed that the item was not available and unlikely to be?,
Tesco advised that they would refund the money and send a letter of apology!, this is in my opinion completely unacceptable as they accepted my money and therefore entered into a contract with me.
I have requested a call-back to discuss the complete breakdown of customer service and ethics by Tesco Direct and also requested that the voice recordings of the initial telephone conversation is made available (this is a legal requirement and they must release the calls) as I want to know why they lied to my wife, I have also advised that a letter of apology is not acceptable and expect them to honour the contract
In my opinion it is Tesco responsibility to provide me with a microwave of equal value to the one that I paid for or provide me with the cash equivalent. I could have bought a number of other microwaves on the Black Friday, however, I decided to go for theirs, so offering me just my money back is clearly a non-runner as all the other possible microwaves were put back to their original pre-Black Friday prices
The service and behaviour thus far displayed by Tesco falls well below the standards expected of a corporate company and more in line with Trotters Independent Traders .

Awful Company, awful service, don't use
Ordered something on 29/11 and still waiting. Cant get any sense out of customer services who tell me to call back...? Hello, I'm the customer - shouldn't they be contacting me back as I'be waited 20 mins for them to pick up my call and that was my 3rd attempt to get through. Online submission forms go unheeded.
They don't even deserve one star.

Bad and stupid
Ordered from tesco clothing before and they contact u via text to let u knw your order has arrived however with tesco direct they do t even let u know. I ordered something on sale with £30 off, says it will be ready in that time and day, but website then says there will be 3-5 days delay due to Christmas festive. Nothing recieved text or anything it's ready for collect. Within less than 48 hours they cancelled my order and said refunded money without a reason! Had to call them then realised that they return immediately if u dont collect at that specific time! But was told early the order could be late! None of my orders were food anyway! I dont see why they need to hurry to refund money! And now I can't even rebuy what i want because the offer has expired! I must pay another £30 in order to reorder! So damn stupid people!
Also my first tesco clothing order was very bad experience, it was never ever despatched! Was told ? Technical problem, it was almost 3 weeks I waited! Called them twice first staff said wait a bit cause of Black Friday, sure u did then made final cell they item was lost in between being dispatched and not dispatched, then they had to send replacement out! Which took total of 3 weeks! Very time consumming and no compensation for both of my losts!

What's happened to Tesco? Christmas present gone missing!
I was one of those who used to rave about how good tesco customer service was but wow what's happened to them these days.
They use to go above and beyond to get things sorted. Not these days.
My story.
My wife saw a babyliss curler she wanted for Christmas, so my mum and nan said they'd get it for her.
There was a notice saying there was a delay on orders and delivery will take longer than expected.
The curler was part of the black Friday deals and was also on offer at many other places at the same price.
It was half price at £60.
So we bought it and money came out instantly.
We got confirmation via email on a click and collect date, so we attend on that date only to be told it's not in store and we shouldn't have come in. Even though the email stated this.
So we spoke to the twitter team who said the item was definitely in at the horwich store.
So we went back a few days later again to be told the item isn't in store.
So I stayed there and refused to move until it was sorted out.
Tesco horwich said the curlers had been signed in. Meaning they was in store but gone missing.
So back and forth with the twitter team who somehow think it's gone to a different store and been returned back to there warehouse now and a refund issued.
Which from reading reviews here seems to be a common thing happening.
My offer from tesco now is to wait and see if it ever comes back in stock and they will honour the original price paid.
But there is no guarantee it will ever come back in stock.
So our only other option than my wife never getting it, is now to pay the full price which is another £60 more.
This is through no fault of our own.
So I'd recommend buyer beware as it seems tesco customer service has slipped lots in recent times which is a shame as they used to be amazing.
They offered no compensation for inconvenience and will avoid them in the future for everything.

Ordered a suitcase - got coloured balls instead
We ordered a suitcase for an impending trip, and we were quite pleased with the idea; it seemed to be just right. And maybe it is indeed a good suitcase; we will probably never know.
When the package arrived it seemed the right size and shape, but alas, on opening it we found only two big packets of coloured balls. Well, mistakes happen, that is only human. But what about rectifying the mistake? The delivery person said he could take it back the next day if we phoned tesco. So we did, but they said that we would have to wait a week before it could be collected, and no, we couldn't get a refund, let alone an actual suitcase, before then, but we could take these unsolicited balls to a store at our own expense... Oh, and it seems that the actual suitcase has sold out now.

Absolutely awful!
On the 20/11/15 I ordered a laptop from Tesco Direct. Knowing that there was a 5-7 day delivery time I paid anyway thanks to the fact it was a better price than most places. On the 25/11/15 I got an email saying it had been dispatched and should be with me by the 27th. The date came and went and no parcel arrived. I emailed them the next day asking what was going on. 4 days later I got an email back saying it would be delivered tomorrow (3/12/15) It is now the 7th and still nothing. Tesco's customer service is taking me in circles and a 2 and a half weeks later I still have no laptop and Tesco have my money! Stay away from Tesco! Wish I'd paid more to get it from Amazon! Their free delivery is much better than this!
