I am extremely disappointed with…
I am extremely disappointed with Talkspace's handling of a billing issue involving one of my employer-provided therapy sessions. Shortly after opening my account, a therapist who was assigned to me deducted one of my available sessions despite never conducting any session whatsoever. No appointment took place, no therapy services were provided, yet one of my employer-sponsored sessions was still consumed. I reported the issue on April 5 and expected it to be a straightforward matter to review. Instead, my complaint remained unresolved for over a month and was eventually closed without any action being taken. I then had to reopen the complaint and start the process all over again. As of today, more than two months later, I am still waiting for a resolution. What makes this even more frustrating is that when I later missed an appointment on April 19, Talkspace was very quick to enforce its policies and notify me of the consequences. However, when it comes to correcting a session that was deducted without any service being provided, the company has repeatedly delayed, passed the issue around, and failed to provide an answer. I have retained documentation, correspondence, and evidence supporting my claim and am happy to provide it directly to Talkspace or any appropriate reviewer.Despite having clear records available, I have spent more than two months receiving generic responses, repeated assurances that the issue is being reviewed, and no actual resolution. The support responses have largely consisted of apologies, statements that the matter is being reviewed, and requests for patience. Meanwhile, the original issue remains unresolved. My concern is not only the improperly deducted session but also the lack of accountability and transparency in the resolution process. I want to be fair: my experience with the second therapist assigned to me has been positive. Unfortunately, that positive experience does not change the fact that Talkspace has failed to address a billing and benefits issue that should have been resolved months ago. A customer should not have to repeatedly reopen the same complaint and wait months for an answer regarding benefits that were consumed without services being rendered. I am simply asking for Talkspace to review the records, acknowledge that no session occurred, restore the employer-sponsored session that was improperly deducted, and provide a clear explanation as to why my original complaint was closed without resolution. After more than two months of waiting, I still have neither an explanation nor a solution. That level of customer support is unacceptable. Update 7/11/26 It's been over 3 months now and I'm still waiting, you said you are reviewing my case. I dont know how it can take 3 months and a half to review my case.
