AVOID AT ALL COSTS - 100% a scam. I input my insurance information through zocdoc and scheduled an appointment. They verified my insurance and stated in email I have a 0 dollar copay. Then after my appointment they sent me a bill for hundreds of dollars saying my insurance wasn't accepted. Now they are sending my bill to collections... Classic bait and switch.

You don’t promote a business for mental health by talking smack about therapists. It’s like saying case workers can’t do what a therapist does. It’s different disciplines and if anything psychiatrists can be the least effective ones in that bunch.

What a joke! While owned privately not publicly I had a one time visit in which the evaluator decided that I was not a good candidate for their services which is fine no problems but for that hour or less visit to determine I was ineligible for service I was billed $658. The bill was adjusted by $272 dollars for insurance adjustments and my insurance paid $345 dollars and I am responsible for the last $40. $460 was for the evaluation, diagnosis and to determine that I was ineligible for services. There was another $198 charge for "in addition to medical services" 🤔😂 "your clinician uses psycho therapeutic techniques (like supportive psychotherapy, psychoeducation,or cognitive behavioral therapy) to help you explore your emotions, understand your mental health, and develop strategies for felling better". I guess that would be the list of providers in my area that they could send me😂😂😂. Which to my knock never received as I said thats ok I'm sure that I can look that up myself! So now I get a call from my insurance company who has now listed me as a VIP and wants to conduct a home visit. What a joke!

Wish I saw these reviews before scheduling. As far as I can tell and according to these reviews Talkitary is a scam. I thought my appointment would be the price that it says on my insurance card to see a specialist. The person I saw said they could do absolutely nothing for me, and then billed me more than that, and two separate charges for providing me zilch. I beg you don't try this out.

absolutely garbage. had to wait a month for an appointment, and she cancelled it 15 minutes before the scheduled time. absolutely disrespectful. never wasting my time with this garbage service again

Billing is a questionable and customer service is the absolute worst. Before diving into this service be aware. Also, the doctors can cancel the day of scheduled appointment without question; however, patients are required to cancel 48hrs in advance to avoid being charged.

I signed up for it just because it was the only god damned service that my garbage insurance at the time covered (UHC, big surprise, the mass murder machine itself), and in the course of a major injury and reconstructive surgeries it became clear that ongoing- symptoms saw dramatic improvement and my life got much more livable on a low dose of a drug the surgery doctors put me on. Figured it'd be worth finally living with less misery and constant, deep struggle. Ended up spending a god damn pile of money on this service trying to get into some kind of services and the guy I talked to basically said they don't do perscriptions or therapy and tried to sell me on some kind of shit program they run. Basically the platform's just a way to give sales pitches for wasting money, there is no therapy, there is no medicine being practiced here. Just taking advantage of poor people and somehow getting paid by insurance to do it.

Absolutely awful platform. They have canceled my appointment many times. They don't give a reason. They also accuse you of canceling the appointment when they, in fact, canceled it. They cancel appointments within 48 hours of the scheduled time. They then provide a rescheduled time for a month or more in the future. Really wish it worked because if it did it's a great idea! Unfortunately it doesn't.
