I saw a Dr Shiao through this company. Scheduling was easy and the telehealth portion went smoothly. The doctor started out extremely condescending. Even though I outlined all of the things I had previously tried for my condition, including professional counseling, she scolded me multiple times for not having addressed it. She made derogatory comments about the severity of my condition while she played with her cat. She was extremely unprofessional with no bedside manner whatsoever. I told her that I had had a negative experience on SSRI’s, and she proceeded to prescribe an SSRI. I went ahead and tried it because - hey - she’s the doctor. I immediately was inundated with suicidal ideations for 24 hours a day. This doctor was too rigid and stuck to her own ideas of what some textbook says, and her own ways, that she was unwilling to see that there was an actual patient sitting before her who needed to be heard. Extremely disappointed and humiliated.

Super easy to get a doctor. They have a survey before each appointment that helps me and the doctor see where I am with basic symptoms. My doctor takes great notes that we revisit as I’m given treatment. Overall a great experience getting me to see that I do have depression and anxiety. Treatment has been great too.

I don't DARE write what I just finished writing on the previous page. It's too gruesome and unbearably sad for all of us.

Easy to use service. My provider is amazing. Very understanding, kind, and patient. I feel very comfortable working with him.

I love the fact that I can reach Dr. Stansberry @ any time and he always gets back to me within 24 hours and never longer than that! He is a doctor that is committed to me and my overall well-being and I love that type of dedication! Super Stansberry is what I call him!

Very unresponsive physician network. I want them to sign some important paperwork, and they just ghosted me

I've had a really good experience with Talkiatry for the last 9 months. In the beginning there was a confusion regarding my insurance and at the time it was very stressful. After a phone conversation with Talkiatry staff the issue was fixed and the person I spoke to was very professional. I can't say enough good things about my psychiatrist, Dr. Jeffrey Niles. He's very easy for me to talk to and I have confidence in his knowledge and expertise. Life is much better than it was 9 months ago when I first started and I owe it to Dr. Niles and to Talkiatry for providing the platform.
