Extremely predatory. My one hour initial telehealth consultation costs $658, out of which I received no treatment. The entire time I felt the psychiatrist (Laura Long) was roasting me, had zero empathy when I was talking about my traumas, it felt like she just kept rushing me and recommending therapy and pushing me off to someone else to deal with. I was led to believe this visit would only require a copay, but instead I have a bill for over $600 for less than 2 hours combined over three short "visits" talking to someone on my phone and receiving no treatment. Absolutely sickening how this company charges you and you have no idea how much it's going to cost. This is theft and immoral. I want my $600 back!

I personally think the government entities should come in and shut this place down. People struggle every day with mental health and they sign up to go here and they get charged insane fees that are not clear in the beginning. I waited a couple of weeks and when I was able to speak to someone I felt like I could get the help i needed, however, at the end of the conversation. He told me, unfortunately, I'm not available. You'll have to find somebody else.My schedule is booked! I asked him, what was the point of the conversation? He replied. They schedule us even if we have filled schedules. So we can refer you out. That is absurd. Why did I just spend an hour? Telling you all my problems

Terrible. They are running an online scam masquerading as an online mental wellness brand. I didn't even complete the steps to scheduling and stopped when they asked for payment information. Subsequently, i got an email confirming that my appointment is scheduled. I did an online cancellation, which goes as a request (so you are at mercy of someone at the backend cancelling it). Then i went on a call and did it 48 hours before my appointment, yet was handed a late cancellation fee of $100. That in summary is their business model.

I had a horrible experience with Talkiatry. Dr. Earl De Guzman’s profile does not match his actual care. He did not listen to me and did not delve into my real concerns. He automatically assumed I had issues that I didn’t have and recommended outpatient intensive therapy, which is totally preposterous. He did not exhibit care and concern. Again, it was a horrible experience..

I had to switch insurance and no longer in network for Talkiatry. So not happy after seeing my psychiatrist and therapist for 2 years

I had a good experience the first year, although I thought it was weird when my Dr left with no notice. I had to move to a different state, and was set up with a new psychiatrist. For whatever reason, they set me up with a doctor on the East Coast. That is not in my time zone. This led to much confusion with customer service and automated text giving me two different times. I attempted to talk to a human multiple times and they clearly had no idea what they were talking about. They kept pushing me around, not helping and not having answers. Clearly they dont know how to do their job. I asked to speak to a manager and was told that that was not an option. Because of them, I ended up missing my appointment and ended up not getting my medication refilled because of it. I immediately found a new provider. This place is sketchy as hell. They obviously dont care about their patients. Even their doctors don't seem to know what they're doing. I'm on a prescription of adderall, and the doctor canceled my appointment, saying that he would still be able to refill it.Which was not true. Stay away from talkiatry.

I really like my therapist. He listens to My concerns and helps me to handle my situations.
