I made an appointment easy. The day of my appointment I tried to login into the app on my phone to attend my appointment and It wasn't letting me login. So I grabbed my laptop and tried to login that way and nothing. Someone from Talkiatry called me and got me to the waiting room (sent me a new link) and I could see myself on the camera. It said it was connecting to Alexander VanDenEnde and then it said connection failed. I left to go see if it was my internet and Talkiatry called me again but I had missed it by the time I came back to my laptop. Talkiatry texted me and canceled my appointment. I was worried I would be charged $100 so I called them right back and explained my situation and they said Alexander VanDenEnde canceled my appointment due to internet connectivity issues even though I was on the phone with Talkiatry on and off from 4:34 PM to 4:53 PM. My appointment was supposed to go from 4:30 PM to an hour. Talkiatry said they would try to waive the $100 fee but didn't guarentee it. My internet was fine on my end. Instead of helping me cope with my anxiety Talkiatry made it worse! If Talkiatry charges me I will be sure to give you an update.

Talkiatry charged me $404.22 for a call with a provider who never performed any therapy, technique or gave me ANYTHING of value other than say I needed to go get assessed to an in-person facility for my ADHD and that he couldn't help me, when initially that's why I booked him, (he was listed as an "ADHD expert"). He was totally quiet, heavily breathing most of the 50+ mins of the time our call lasted, to bill me for later (accumulating minutes to bill me later for) I called Talkiatry to demand a transcript or copy of the video recording tele-session and they said they'd work on that but so far, I havent heard back and haven't paid that bill. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

I never had this appointment yet here I am paying a copay and my insurance was billed. The appt was cancel, rescheduled and I never went because I was told I couldn’t due to me living in a different state than the doctor. I called and emailed the customer service which after one email they no longer responded so I was left with no choice other than paying a bill for a service I did not receive.

I believe this is a scam company. They take all your information & set up An appointment time and then never call back. You call back to complain appointment never happens and new appointment to be scheduled and new appointment never happened.

Will waste your time and your money. I was referred to them because I'd recently switched over to new insurance. I was very clear from the beginning that my concern was being able to get my prescription refilled. They knew the unique situation of California and requirements for writing prescriptions out of state. I asked if I needed to be referred locally because that was what was important to me. She still took me through the appointment, wasted my time, wrote a prescription that could not be filled, and charged me the full session. I immediately called to complain. They said they would leave a message, never heard from her again. Then got a $386 bill for the wasted session. I will NEVER use their services again.

I've been trying to schedule my first appointment with Talkiatry for over a month. Each time, my appointment is canceled by the doctor days or even hours before my visit. For a company that bills themselves on accepting insurance, you would think they would have doctors that actually take insurance. The worst.

Omg I can't say enough about how horrible this company is. I moved from Florida to New York and needed my prescriptions continued. Mind you, these are medications that I have been on for YEARS and were the only ones that worked to control my symptoms. The provider was HORRIBLE. They didn't care that I was on a mix that worked for me, they wanted to change everything up in favor of taking me off a controlled substance (that I have been on at the same dose for YEARS without issue) in favor of a bunch of garbage I have ALREADY TRIED and that I either had a reaction to or it didn't work for me. The psychiatrist even tried to add a diagnosis I did not have to try to to back up their insistence I should no longer take the medicines that have served me well all this time. By the time the "consultation" was over, I was in full sobbing crying mode over the absolute callous disregard they had for me, my longstanding medication combo that WORKS, or established medical science. STAY AWAY.

This is a really the worst service ever. The professionals who work with them aren’t bad, but the system is the worst. It’s absurdly complicated to log in, the system crashes ever so often, and then they send you a bill for a session you didn’t have because you couldn’t log into the portal. Zero stars. Not only wouldn’t recommend, but would advise against.
