First time user ordered 3mo supply only to learn minutes later that the app does not run on my android. immediately contacted customer service to cancel the order but was told they cannot cancel it despite being literally less than 8minutes ago. FFS! THERE'S $300 IN THE TOILET!

They basically stole from me
They basically stole from me and the customer service is non existent to help resolve - I purchased a 2-pack of Stelo sensors for $100. Upon arrival, I applied the first sensor following the standard application instructions, but the device failed to function entirely. To ensure it wasn’t an application error on my end, I applied the second sensor from the exact same order using the identical procedure… that second sensor worked perfectly.
Because the first sensor was clearly defective out of the box, I returned it as requested. Receiving a notice three weeks later stating that you "are unable to validate" the issue and will not issue a replacement is unreasonable. I paid for two working sensors, but only received one functional product.

They don't replace defective devices, and most of them are defective.
I feel like I'm shouting into the void because there are so many other reviews like this. I doubt that Stelo will change anything because of it.
I paid for a 3 month subscription, and so far, out of 5 devices, I have had 4 devices go bad. 2 of them, the company replaced, but 2 of them, they did not. I feel like they saw that I had been reporting bad devices a lot, and just decided that I was lying or something? I just know that I keep having their devices go bad, and the last 2 times, they denied that it was bad.
My current device is the last straw. It just constantly shows "below 70". I am not hypoglycemic. It has also been cutting out regularly with "temporary issue", but unless that lasts for over 3 hours, they don't care. They say it's working fine. My device is currently only reporting a few numbers every hour, and they are always "Under 70".
Anyway, I'm finished with Stelo/Dexcom. They won't be getting any more of my money, as they have more defective devices than good ones, and then they won't replace all of their defective ones. These are too expensive to just be throwing away.

It's Good But Has Its Issues, App Sucks
I have been using Stelo now for 5 months. I have yet to have a sensor come off on its own. I've even hit it and caught it on things. I use the Dexcom 7 covers, not the one included. The included one irritated my skin. I have had a couple of times that my sensors got stuck. The app didn't appear stuck, but it said the same reading through a couple of cycles. I turned off my Bluetooth and turned it back on, and the issue resolved. I have noticed that if I'm dropping fast, it does not keep up. I ended up in the floor suddenly with an extreme low (tested manually) while the Stelo was still in the normal range. I do regular checks, though, and typically it's on par with my finger sticks, as long as I'm not rising or dropping too fast. I've noticed it more with dropping, but I think any drastic change up or down it struggles to keep up. The update to the app is horrible. It's dark and difficult to read. It wants me to log every detail of my food, and gives me daily insights I don't want. They are not helpful. They are just frustrating. And frankly, I don't have the time to make my life evolve around this app. It's also expensive and stupid that insurance doesn't cover it.

I’m new to using these sensors
I’m new to using these sensors, and unfortunately both of mine had problems. One sensor stopped working completely, and the other fell off.
Getting a replacement for a sensor that falls off is much more difficult than it should be. You have to provide the date you applied it and the serial number. As a first-time user, I wasn’t expecting to need that information, so I didn’t write it down.
For the sensor that stopped working, the replacement process through the app was quick and easy.
I signed up for the three-month subscription, but I’m canceling it. It’s simply too expensive to pay for a product that doesn’t work reliably.

HATE the Selo update look.
I like the Stelo sensor but absolutely Hate the new platform they just switched to. They call it an "upgrade" and that' obsurd. They made the screen so dark now. I used to be able to choose the tracking by the day or 2 week and so on. Sometimes I would ch my glucose level by the month. Can't do that anymore
The most I can track now is 24 hrs or put in a date and they would show the average glucose for that day only. I hate it so much, I'm thinking of canceling my orders and autos hip all together and find a different product to use. Why couldn't you people just leave things alone when they're not broke. Any time there a new update on anything out there, they just make things worse and never better.

Product failures
I continue to have regular trouble with the performance of the sensor itself. It regularly gives readings outside the accuracy range the company claims and has frequent and persistent connectivity problems. I can’t trust its readings in an absolute sense and rely only on trends. The company is increasingly refusing to replace faulty sensors suggesting it is a user issue despite data showing otherwise. At this point I am sticking with Dexcom, but I can’t afford to keep discarding $50 sensors for premature failure.

Like the sensor, HATE the new app version
I have been pleased with the Stelo sensor, overall. I had to learn to be careful not to bump my arm on things that might snag the sensor and knock it off, but after I got used to it being there I generally had no problem. The sensors are not calibrated to match each other, so readings from the old sensor may be 5 to 10 points different than readings from a new sensor. But, generally speaking, they are close enough for me to keep tabs on what my glucose is doing, and I've found this to be a valuable tool in managing my A1C.
What I'm really ticked off about, however, is the new Stelo app version. I just downloaded version 3.2.0 and it's radically different from the prior version. I absolutely hate the dark appearance, and all the features have changed. I especially hate the AI trying to give me tips and insights. I don't need a virtual nanny getting all up in my business. I liked the old app and I want it back.
The app does have a feature that is supposed to provide feedback to Stelo. However, it requires me to give myself a nickname, but refuses to accept any nickname that I input. I have no idea whether it sent my feedback to Stelo or not.
