Delivery was timely and setting up was very simple and painless, which was all great because I was so looking forward to not pricking my finger several times a day but it turns out that I still have to do that if I want accuracy. This device is consistently 10 to 60 points lower than a finger prick test. That makes it worthless. Accuracy is everything.

The sensor stopped working after 7 days of normal work. The customer service is available through the chat only and the chat freezes after several answers so you have to start from the scratch and with a different person. Finally I filled their complaint form and was promised a replacement but in 2 days I received a reply that they couldn’t sent it at this time. I liked it in the beginning as it gives your life structure. I was very disappointed by the early interruption and poor support and refusal of replacement. I won’t ever buy it again and don’t recommend it to anyone. Another major issue is with their app: they don’t have an option to download the data in pdf or any other form and that is pretty inconvenient. I should have free access to MY data.

I have a subscription where I receive six sensors every three months ($300). Typically three of those six sensors either fail to pair or end early during warmup. I reported the issues through the Stelo BOT and filled out the form. Stelo was replacing them promptly. However they've refused to replace the last two that ended early during warmup. I initially thought that the issue may be their app. The app did not remove the sensor ID from my Android bluetooth. However sensors connected via the new app have the same issues. Their customer service is a joke. I suspect that Stelo is a dumping ground for DEXCOM substandard sensors. I discovered that the fda.gov website has a place to report faulty medical equipment. Maybe if we all start reporting these issue to the FDA, Stelo will be forced to address them. The info that you need to complete the form is on the end of the Stelo sensor box.

I wanted this to be a good experience, but like so many of the other reviewers, I have had nothing but trouble from them. They are wildly inaccurate compared to my very good brand fingerstick test. Where the CGM often shows that it is in low normal range with good numbers, like 99 or 110, only to do a stick test and find out that it's actually 164 or higher! This could be very dangerous for someone trying to keep glucose in a safe range. If I were just relying on the Stelo CGM, all of these months are passing that I would be assuming that I was in good safe range, and had rectified the health issue. It's only because I'm also using a stick test every few days alongside them, that I even knew anything was off. Very disappointing, especially given the cost!

Two out of five sensors failed. Customer service was uneven and required too many calls and unrealistic evidence, such as the serial number that is only on the containers I threw away. They have my data and the invoices did not have the serial number. If a product fails I expect replacement or reimbursement.

Glucose monitor worked for about 6 days and then it gave me false readings for a whole day. I contacted them, they never followed up and closed the case. I chatted with a live agent and he said they reviewed it and since it didn’t have an error message it wasn’t elegible for replacement.
