I went with Stanley steamer because I thought it was a reputable company However I was wrong. I wanted my ducts cleaned and carpets done. They talked my husband out of doing the ducts and to put $1000 uv ray light contraption to kill bacteria and dust. My house is still very dusty. The carpet part was a total waste of money. The carpets had a weird smell afterwards and matted down. We asked to have a manager come out directly and they sent the same person who did the job. Very unhappy

I hired Stanley steamer to come into a rental house and steam clean couches and several rugs because my daughter is allergic to cats and the prior occupants had cats. I explained this in detail to the company before hand, I explained this in detail to The two technicians who showed up to do the work. I was assured they would do a good job and I left the house to go to the other apartment to help my daughter move out and told the men to text me - that I was three minutes away if they had questions or before they were ready to leave. I was back-and-forth once and saw them working on the couch, left again, and when I returned this time they were gone without texting me, and they had not even touched any of the three rugs. and the couch, even after steam cleaning still had significant cat hair on it. I had Other cleaners at the house while Stanley steamer was there and they confirmed for me that the rugs were never touched, plus I could tell from the fact they were not even remotely wet an hour after they left. I called Stanley Steemer and let them know that they had not completed the job as the rugs were not completed and that there was still cat hair on the couch. They could not get anyone out that same day and offered several days later. I was only in town for one day to get this done so I asked for a refund for the parts that were not completed. I was told that a manager would have to get back to me to do that and that someone would call me. I then got a request for a review and gave a poor review and explained why and got a message back saying they were sorry for the poor review and that a manager would be in touch. It has now been a week since that date and no one has contacted me. Planning to dispute the charge as half of the work was not done at all and the half that was attempted was ridiculously poor. Very disappointed and puts me in a really tough position now to try and scramble from out of town. 

My initial review of Stanley Steemer services was glowing. We were moving into a rental in Sun City and as an elderly couple we are sensitive to certain airborne particles. We hired Stanley Steemer to come in a clean the air ducts as the previous tenants had a dog. Freddie sent us pictures before and after. Everything looked good. We moved in a few days later and we immediately noticed a strange smell. We knew everything was cleaned already so we purchased an air freshener that was installed at the air filter of the return. When we opened the return and saw the air filter, we were astonished. When Stanley Steemer cleaned the air ducts and vents, they put back the old air filter into the return, and it was full of dirt and dog hair. We were breathing that for two days. Very disappointed and would not use them again.

Switch an Bait I called for a quote for ky condo. I gave them the square footage of the condo and they asked how many bedrooms. When the local stankey steamer came in he said it was only fir 2 bedrooms and the 25 sq ft kitchen and 120 ft living room was not included., and it would an additional 300 dollars. I told him the 1200 sq ft included everything. I pd the additional and put a complaint into corp. Never received sny call back or nessage. Woyld never use them agsin

Worker professional and seemingly did a good job.Duct cleaning. But after days stuff started to show wrong. Many grill were replaced upside down, screwing up the airflow distribution. Some grills were so poorly replaced they are falling off. Unfortunately my initial review was wrong. As a handicapped client i would suggest using a better compay

My son, Todd Lovering, scheduled Stanley Steemer, Reno, to clean and treat/remove pet stained areas in my small home in early January. The cleaner walked through the rooms (two bedrooms, hall and living room) indicating the areas that needed special pet urine treatment. The job took about an hour and the cleaner charged over $300! The carpets were soaking wet for over 48 hours, smelled horribly of urine and a sickly perfume odor. The smell was terrible and the pet urine was still there. Awful job! About 10 days later my son hired a different professional, recommended by the residential management company where he lives, to redo Stanley Steemer’s work. They did an excellent job! The urine and perfume odors are gone. Cost $150. Wonderful job! Stanley Steemer should refund the poor quality job in full.

Where do I even begin? I scheduled service for a day that I took off from work to be here for the six-hour – yes, six hours! – window this company requires for service. I spent another half-hour preparing the room where the work would occur. I was very explicit in my instructions when I booked the service that I could not guarantee street parking for the technician’s van, but I could provide garage parking. When he arrived, he said he could not park in the garage and there was not immediate street parking in front of our Home, so he left. Five minutes later the space opened up in front of our home and I immediately called dispatch and asked that he returned and do the work. They said it was too late; he had already moved on, five minutes after he left my home for what would’ve been a multi-hour appointment. On top of that issue, the company sent me a confirmation email with the photograph of a technician who was entirely different than the technician who showed up at my home. I understand that schedules changed, but given that that is a security and safety precaution, the company should’ve followed up with an update that a new technician would be arriving. After all of this, the company kept insisting that they could come back tomorrow after I told the dispatcher repeatedly that I was unavailable for the rest of the week because I would not be home to allow the technician in. His solution was to continue to offer tomorrow as the service day, along with a $25 discount on what would have been an $800 cleaning job. All around incredibly disappointing experience with even worse customer service. You lost a customer for life, Stanley Steemer.

If i could give them zero stars I would, I called because I payed up front for a promotion, they said if I paid almost 600.00 that after my initial steam cleaning of 3 rooms that I would get 3 more times for free for any 2 rooms. So I called to schedule my 2nd cleaning and this time I wanted my bedroom and living room steam cleaned he said we can't do your bedroom because that wasn't one of the rooms we, he said it has to be 2 of the rooms we already did. I said that's not what the guy who was here cleaning who talked me into this deal told me he said any 2 rooms in your home. The guy from Stanley steamer who answers their phone said " Do you believe everything you hear???? I said excuse me? I said why are you talking to me like this i said id like to speak to your boss, he then said I will just give you a refund I said a refund he said yes do you want a refund I said you know what yes I do! I'd hate for this guy to work for me if I had a business, he just lost them basically 400.00 dollars for the last 3 cleanings. Smh
