Stanley SteemerReviews of stanleysteemer.com

Switch an Bait I called for a quote for ky condo. I gave them the square footage of the condo and they asked how many bedrooms. When the local stankey steamer came in he said it was only fir 2 bedrooms and the 25 sq ft kitchen and 120 ft living room was not included., and it would an additional 300 dollars. I told him the 1200 sq ft included everything. I pd the additional and put a complaint into corp. Never received sny call back or nessage. Woyld never use them agsin

Worker professional and seemingly did a good job.Duct cleaning. But after days stuff started to show wrong. Many grill were replaced upside down, screwing up the airflow distribution. Some grills were so poorly replaced they are falling off. Unfortunately my initial review was wrong. As a handicapped client i would suggest using a better compay

When I declined all their upgrades they left with the carpet soaking wet. Bait and switch.

On Dec. 4 we had an appointment with your company to get our carpet and furniture cleaned. The serviceman showed up and asked for a water source. We have an apartment and dont have that kind of source readily available. So he rescheduled us for the next day with a portable cleaner system adding that it won't do the same job. the next day two workers showed up and asked for a water source. we showed them the showers faucet and they said that would be fine. Basically they sprayed the areas with a fine mist and sucked it up. I could've done that. (By portable I was thinking a little more elbow grease!) After they left we noticed the stains weren't completely gone and some candy under the love seat was still there. We are very disappointed with the process. There's no WOW there as advertised.

Our tech was very nice and courteous. My house doesn't smell like chemicals. I wasn't impressed with the service. I was expecting better results than a rug doctor and stains to be removed. That's not what happened. It looks basically the same, except my house is wet. BTW: 8-12 hours to dry is what the tech said. We'll see. This carpet is 10 years old and has been cleaned 3 times; with disappointing results. I had pretty low expectations. I still wouldn't do it again. $226 out the door. 2 rooms and a hallway with deodorizer. What a rip. Could have rug doctored it for less than half that.

When the technician came out to do the cleaning, despite having a quote, the cost was more due to the fact that they charge double for a bigger room because the square footage is 323 ft.² and if it’s over 300 then you get charge for two rooms. The actual cleaning was fine but the customer service stinks!

I pleasantly pointed out to the tech an area of concern outside of a chair mat border before starting. Afterward he asked me if everything was okay and I pointed out the apparent line still there and asked if he could go over it again. He became incensed and said that walking occurred outside that border and he’s been doing carpets for 15 years and knows what he’s doing. I said I understand but asked if he’d go over it one more time. He because argumentative and again stated that he know best after 15 years. I explained that I paid over $650 for essentially an hour’s work on three rooms and that that I’m the customer making a request. I stayed that I’m not looking for an argument because he asked and I requested. He grudgingly headed toward the room and in an aggressive way asked if I wanted to watch him. Trying to de-escalate, I said no that I do not need to watch because i know he’s going over it again. He called me into the room to inspect and it did look a bit better to me: He again threw to me that he’s been cleaning carpet for 15 years and he knows what he’s doing. I explained that I appreciate him going over again but I wasn’t looking for an argument. I usually tip, but not this man. He acted like he didn’t want to be working. Poor value, poor experience…never again and no recommendation to others. Too bad because I used this company in the past.

Stanley Steemer came to my home to clean my air ducts, I thought the Technicians were doing a good job until I saw the commercial. They never used a brush to clean my ducts. In fact, I paid for a gel freshner and they didn't install but they charged me. I would NEVER use them again. The person who answered made it sound that I was lying about the freshners until a Supervisor came and confirmed, no freshners were installed. They are $20 a piece, well over priced and USELESS. I was told they worked for at least 6 months, not even a month or 1 day. Terrible company, not worth the trouble.
