We provided a service to Sohhne, but unfortunately, they failed to make the payment despite receiving the completed work. We tried to contact them multiple times regarding the issue, but they have been unresponsive. This kind of unprofessional behavior is disappointing, and I would advise others to be cautious when dealing with them.

Import from China and not from the US. I understood that I was buying from a US based company as I didn't want to buy from China, however, about three weeks after purchase I started to get tracking information from a Chinese importing agent. I queried this with Sohnne customer service and after three days got a reply to say that "Due to supply demands and stock levels my item was being shipped by their warehouse in Shanghai. The chair arrived in three packages; two arrived after 6 weeks but the third was further delayed but three weeks and I was charged an additional import tax of £25 which was refunded by Sohnne. The quality of the metal work and screws is very poor and the holes do not line up with the screws meaning they do not sit flush. As a result the metal brackets are tightened against the heads of the screws leaving a gap of 5mm...Very poor attention to detail and lack of quality control. Customer service is virtually non existent. When you do get a response it is meaningless cooperate waffle with little to no accountability. I asked for a refund and my email was just ignored. The result is a chair that looks good but is not made of high quality materials. Be prepared to assemble with alterations needed with some replacement screws and re drilling possibly needed. Update; 3rd April 2025. Following this review I was contacted by Sohnne who kindly offered a Full refund which was unexpected. However, as of today, no refund has been received suggesting that the company is untrustworthy even when acknowledging bad service. Up Date 6/4/25. I have received a Negotiated part refund to reflect the chair I have received as I didn't feel a full refund as offered was fair. Rather than putting customers through this absurd merry-go-round of complaint and counter claim, 1. The website must make clear that customers in the EU and UK (possibly elsewhere judging by the feedbacks) will be supplied by China and not the US. 2. Provide more details on the packaging and postage system as this is impossible to follow accurately (as Cantonese to English translation is via chatGPT an unreliable) 3. Customer service needs to improve of speed of response and be consistent. Thank you for your refund.

Upfront: Do not buy with Sohnne Product purchased: Eames Lounge Chair Tall 1. Delivery times were months longer than promised a) I ordered in December. Delivery took weeks to be dispatched. Package came in 3 parts b) Packages from China (not US as advertised on homepage) -> Dropshipping. c) ALL packages were damaged. some parts of the product had scratches and dents even where it was wrapped d) packaging: Horrible. Grimy bubble wrap 2. Product quality is horrendous a) Leather stinks of chemicals (STILL - after 4 weeks out in the open, on the balcony!) b) Seating is not "plush" as promised - it is very hard. Cannot sit in the chair for more than 15 minutes c) wrong screws / hardware delivered d) missing hardware 3. Customer Service is very bad (still, always friendly) a) no response to emails b) constant wrong statements c) MANY support agents - nobody reads messages of the other agents d) promised a replacement - they crawled back e) promised calls - no follow-up f) every date promised for feedback was not kept g) multiple tries to contact on Whatsapp went unanswered h) Tried calling twice - nobody picked up. 4. Positives a) I was not interested in a refund. I wanted a chair as advertised. They sent a replacement, which was similarly not up to the standard advertised. Better, but still very hard, not plush, defects and scratches, wrong screws, etc. However, they eventually seem to have given up - instead of a replacement, they pushed for a full refund, which I accepted in the end. But I need to get rid of the chair now (the second one), covering the cost myself b) Customer service always tried to stay friendly. Even though I was VERY upset and frustrated with the horrendous quality of the service, they always remained friendly, which I appreciate. SUMMARY DO NOT BUY with this company. There is a good chance they will dropship you a very shitty, stinky, badly put together product without proper quality control. They may do a refund, but you'll have to take care of getting rid of the unusable product after all. A real pity - I was looking forward so much to my chair.

ABSOLUTE CRAP! Chester, Joe, Alicia, etc, all crap! The most terrible customer service EVER! Tried my best to purchase an Ultra Premium Eames Lounge chair, but neither could complete the sell. Then you’re forced to start all over again with a different “BOT”. Very FRUSTRATING! The website is a nightmare! Too much Flash…keeps reloading! The Product Description is INCORRECT! Also, they outright LIE about having a London shop/showroom… TERRIBLE! DO NOT TRUST.

Terrible experience so far. The chair I ordered arrived quickly but the quality is just not there and communication has been very difficult. They sent me the wrong armchairs. They told me they will send me the right ones but it’s been a month and no news from them. Update: it’s been a week and still haven’t heard back from them. Update: Diego was useful and helped me get a refund

Dealing with Sohnne was a mixed experience: Sohnne's servers are glacially slow, and its webpages are poorly organized, and not always timely updated with shipping information. While the humans who sometimes responded were pleasant and cordial and supportive, their follow-through was poor - a promised call-back with tracking info was not made. Fed Ex Ground's delivery was significantly late and violated my standing instructions about where delivered packages are to be left when I'm not here. The result, however, was excellent. The product was well-packed, and arrived undamaged despite a pretty banged-around and partially-opened shipping box. The product appears to be of very good quality, and I'm very satisfied.

I purchased this product thinking it was from the US, but it turns out they’re just reselling cheap items from China. The package finally arrived today, and the declared value on it is only $20. What does that mean? It means it’s only insured for $20—good luck trying to get any real compensation if something happens to it in transit. This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their business model is misleading, and they are clearly running a scam. Avoid them at all costs!
