I ordered a chair on August 10

I ordered a chair on August 10, 2025, it is now December 19, 2025 no chair. Their "white glove" delivery service is a joke. They finally sent the item and asked me if I had a crane to put it in my house. TO MY KNOWLEDGE, no one keeps a crane in their home to accept deliveries! The truck driver attempted to leave the crate in the middle of my street blocking several driveways and traffic but I refused to sign so he took it back. I called this company on numerous times and they continue to try to force delivery by saying that the truck drivers will leave the item THEN the "white glove" folks will be dispatched to bring inside and install. THIS MAKES NO SENSE. I live in NJ and we just experienced huge snow storm. The item cost about $3K and the refund window is closed. DO NOT USE AFFIRM because they close their refund window after 120 days. I also suspect that they order these items from China and don't tell you its being made and then you wait. I requested a refund and they just keep sending me email after email trying to force delivery - DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

Hi DJV, Thank you for sharing this, and I’m truly sorry for the frustration and the delivery experience you described. We have been trying to reach you through direct, focused communication, and it’s unfortunate that there were misunderstandings along the way. At the moment, your item is still safely held at our warehouse, and it has not been abandoned or lost. Our team has already offered a solution designed to be as favorable to you as possible, and we want to get this resolved in a way that restores your confidence in Sohnne. Regarding Affirm, we understand the concern. Because Affirm is a third-party financing provider, their refund and timeline policies are handled directly by them, and we don’t have the ability to change those terms. The best path is to contact Affirm support so they can advise the options available on their side. Please reply to the most recent email from our team so we can confirm your preferred resolution and schedule everything properly. We want to make sure this ends with you taken care of and satisfied. Sincerely, Sohnne Support Team

Amazing experience all around
Our experience with Sohnne has been nothing short of wonderful. We are absolutely in love with the furniture we've purchased - the quality and design of amazing modernist pieces at an affordable price point is incredible. I have also found customer service to be particularly fast, helpful, efficient, and very kind (Thanks, Steve!). We will definitely be purchasing from them again in the future.

Sohnne is a great e-tailer for Mid Century Modern furniture at an affordable price. I bought the Shell Chair from them in Palisander with real leather cushioned surfaces. It was easy to assemble if you followed their video directions (handy!) and looks fabulous. At the price and quality, Sohnne is hard to beat. Andy Miles of Sohnne emailed me personally to see how I was enjoying my product from them. Nice personal touch!

Hi Kelly! Thank you so much for the thoughtful review and 5 stars. So happy you’re loving your chair and that the assembly video made it easy. Also love that you noticed the personal follow-up, we truly care about the experience from start to finish. Enjoy your new piece, and please reach out anytime you need anything. Best, Sohnne team

Beautiful Piece, very true to the original
My piece is amazing, true to the original, comfortable and beautiful. The delivery took quite some time (5 months) but it was well worth it, and the Sohnne team was always updating me on the shipping status. We are very happy with our new 50 UP armchair.

Some hiccups but excellent quality and service
Ordered a few furniture from this company. Despite the some hiccups with shipment tracking/delays, inaccurate furniture color, and reward points not showing up, I got to give it to the company for excellent customer service and quality of their products. Andy from customer service solved a lot of my problems promptly and perfectly. Thanks!
