My cat was struggling with digestive problems, she is also a picky eater
My furbaby Ginger was struggling with digestive problems, I tried many different cat foods and brands but nothing seemed to help. Ginger is also a very picky eater which also makes it challenging to find a brand that is healthy and also delicious for her. Ginger absolutely loves Smalls wet food, and the very first day she tried it, she loved it! It was a very easy transition and her digestive issues went completely away. Me and Ginger are very satisfied and happy that she is now back to normal, and I was able to find the healthiest food for her.

Falsely advertised & made my cat sick
I was a loyal customer of Smalls for over 2 years. Last Fall, they changed their recipes with no communication to customers (they say they sent an email, I've found zero proof of this and they've declined to resend). They added FISH to several recipes that were previously fish-free - chicken, beef and turkey. My cat cannot have fish and has had GI upset issues for months, I've finally figured out this was the cause.
They also decreased the protein content, using dark/fatty meats to save costs. Their Instagram ads will tell you this is "80%" protein - if you request their nutrient profile, all of their recipes are 36-43% calories from protein, 52-59% protein on a dry matter basis, 15-18% protein as fed - ie, there is literally no scientific, actual basis for these ads.
I have almost 2 months supply of this food in the freezer and had another box ship while waiting days on a reply from Smalls about the recipe change. They've declined my request to refund my most recent box, none of which I can feed my cat.
Smalls doesn't care about your cat, they care about their bottom line.

I'm really sorry to hear about the experience you’ve had. It must be incredibly frustrating to have your cat’s health affected by an unexpected change in the food. Our new recipes first began to ship out to customers starting in fall of 2023. We sent out an introductory email to all of our customers with information about the new recipes and details about the changes and we apologize if that was missed.
It’s important that your cat gets the right food for their specific needs, and it sounds like this situation has caused a lot of confusion and stress. Your cat’s health should always be the priority, and I hope we can address your concerns more effectively!

I have tried several foods and my cat is particular on the cat food and he really enjoy the fresh food cats especially the chickens recipe!! He has gain some weight which was needed and his hairs is now shinny and beautiful! I highly recommend it! Plus they send the food when ordered! Excellent food and service!

My cat is 19 years old and losing…
My cat is 19 years old and losing weight. I tried Smalls and she is eating it. I noticed her bowel movements are no longer soft and don't smell. she has only been on the food for about 10 days, so no weight gain is noticeable. She does eat the food once I put water on it and mix it up.

Excellent sucess
We have had excellent success with Smalls. Our cat loves the food and it is perfectly portioned so it’s easy to keep her at ideal weight. I am hoping that Smalls will help keep her healthy and that we will have many many years with her. She likes the pulled recipes and the ground bird and other bird. My 18 year old cat was eating the…
My 18 year old cat was eating the smooth bird so good for about 6 months. Gained back over 4 lbs since he started having food intolerance. Then he quit eating it. I changed him to the shredded bird and he loves it thankfully! He’s back to being a happy guy again!
