Very difficult to create a account with Schwab I creat a account in November to now April my account has not been approved

Recently wanted to get started with investing and looked at a couple of different platforms before deciding that Charles Schwab had the best user interface out of all of them, transferring money to a retirement account was a easy and painless process. Had an issue with logging in and the representative that helped me, Brendon Cook, was super great! He was professional, friendly and helped me long on while guiding me to where I should set up 2FA so I don't have to go through this again, and also answered all my questions about opening other accounts. Great experience!

starting investing money on this platform and within a couple weeks deposits were not making it to my account after directly being taken out of my paycheck. they said they couldn't do anything about it. i sold my mutual funds and am closing my account. this platform is awful

I reviewed the negative reviews and my experience is different. I open my first account with Schwab in Florida in the 1980's and I have been with them since. I tried other Financial / Brokerage firms, with mixed success. SERVICE. As perfect as it goes, I always been able to talk to a real person, if the broker is not available, someone else will try to help. Everyone over all these years has been friendly. INTEREST RATE: Several comments of Schwab not paying interest or little. Well this is true on the Cash Accounts or the problem maybe that they offer too many choices. You can get CD's fro many banks paying from 4% to 5.13. But at this time you can do better then blocking your money for a year. Schwab SWVXX offers a 5.13% (that was a few days ago) and you can close you investment within 48 hours. Are we tempted sometimes (I am) to jump and give a negative review when something goes wrong but not when it is right?

I have $200,000 in cd making $9000 in interest in December of this year. Schwab interest chart shows me making $200 in December of the year. This interest bar chart is 100 percent totally inaccurate with random Numbers put up for last 6 months of this year. I called them 4 times in last 2 weeks and still no fix, absolutely pathetic

Schwab has the best free checking account. I like the free ATM perk.

Worst brokerage I’ve experienced in 30 years of trading. Very restrictive, very user unfriendly, and very intrusive. DO NOT USE this broker; you will regret it. They have a very low rating for good reason. They cannot grow organically, so the buy TDAmeritrade to acquire new customers, just to subject these clients to the worst service in the industry!

Have an account that was switched over from TD Ameritrade. I finally realized that they are paying virtually NOTHING for the cash account. Fidelity and Vanguard are paying around 4% for FDIC insured cash accounts, more for their money market funds that you can use as a settlement account. Just have an issue with an OTC worthless stock which customer service couldn't help me with. So I guess I'll switch everything but that useless stock over to Vanguard.
